Bill Maher Kicks Conspiracy Theorist out of His Audience...
|
I was watching this, yes. Live TV rules. "Audience comes from the latin: to listen," or whatever......that was awesome.
|
"This is better than when I was on Springer."
|
hahaa...far left lunatics getting humiliated yet again....i love it
love the part where the dude is booing..and maher goes, "and cows disagree with me" haha cant wait to hear the leftwing sheep in here kill bill for this..let it begin! |
Yawn

Awesome.

Well, the heckler guy in the audience is a nutjob, that's for sure, and Bill handled it with great aplomb. I generally enjoy his show very much and find it an entertaining and stimulating platform. Sometimes it's even rather informative, even somewhat bipartisan. What I don't enjoy is Maher's rather narrow-minded and one-dimensional view of religion, but then again, I suppose organized religion tends to lend itself to being an easy target.
It's a bit odd to me though that people use the blanket term "conspiracy theorist" so often these days. Although I do understand why the label is used because there are many (at best) paranoid and (at worse) self-serving loose cannons that don't bother to get the facts straight, I don't subscribe to all of the implied connotations arising from the use of the derogatory term. The structure of power has always been rooted in conspiracies throughout human history, thus conspiracy is a very real concept with very real ramifications in our world. |
As soon as two or more people act together for a common purpose you have a conspiracy in law in the UK
So, theoretically, virtually everything is a conspiracy |
Yeah all those dozens of pedophile republicans aren't a conspiracy, not like in Portugal or in Belgium.
The republican creed: "When we're not raping American children, we're bankrupting the future!" LOL!!! Meyers is known as a "Left Gatekeeper" - he makes sure the discourse stays within allowed, safe, corporate boundries. Just like certain people on this board... |
id love to see Tesla on mahers show, maher would dissect him to the point where tesla has nothing left but furious anger..and judging by teslas posts, hes about 1 more insult away from a complete breakdown, hahaa

are you for real? why would any of us agree with these nutjobs. this is what you slip up on so often. the sy forum on the whole does not support what you would term "leftwing sheep". we are simply open to intelligent, reasonable and academic thought. the 9/11 conspiracy does not hold up. simple as. |
I just saw the whole thing on the HBO replay. Several people who Bill appropriately labelled "nutcases" were calling out Maher for previously stating a common sense view that the World Trade Center towers did not collapse due to a controlled explosion. And, of course, at least the one guy got kicked out, because it was on camera.
|
am i for real? yes, cause i dont hear any of the right wing nutjobs sayin the WTC attacks were a controlled demolition, although they have thier own problems...people like Tesla believe stuff liek that and it seems his opinions is more often than not accepted as possible or probable on this board. i wouldnt be surprised if Tesla was a member of the group who tried, very unsuccessful to ambush someones show to view thier nonsense. the reason they have to do things like that is NO ONE takes them serious, as they shouldnt be taken.. what makes me laugh is the fact they think bush is capable of masterminding such a plot...
|
It's true that tesla69 has posted on several occasions that he's one of the people that believes in the nonsensical controlled demolition theory.
One supposes he's been watching too many unsubstantiated internet videos and has read too many gobbledegook-filled articles online. |
Hey, you know what's funny also, Lethrneck4? Not only would it be people just like tesla69 that would stage such a disruption during a live television taping, but what's really hysterical is that he probably believes in his runaway paranoia that Bill Maher himself is a really crafty and subversive agent of the government.

I love that you guys are circling your wagons against me! Atari and leatherneck - 2 peas in a pod!
the only nonsense about the controlled demo theory is atari disputing it. The evidence - at least that which Ghouliani didn't immediately send to China for meltdown - leans much more to a controlled demo than Bush administrations explanation. Shorenstein himself said WTC7 was pulled. Witnesses on the ground saw and heard explosions throughout the buildings. You can see the explosions yourself on video. I've never asserted this is FACT (please show me where I did) - I've only pointed to the tendencies and potential and that the Bush explanation you are so adamant about protecting is utterly false. The govs own research shows the bldgs couldn't have failed as they did. The Bush explanation is al l theory as well. And you guys neevr explain why Cheney had the air force stand down. Why Bush's cousin had security contracts for the WTC and associated airport. Why was the NORAD mgr replaced by the day before by someone who had no experience, on a day with at least 5 wargames going on (so that FEMA is conveniently all set up on the ground in NYC). Who had access to the internal whitehouse security codes to call in a threat to the president on their internal systems. Why was Mohammed Atta the devout muslim a fan of strip clubs and also assocated with heroin dealers who are associated with the Bush family - and why was his exgirlfriend warned by the FBI not to talk to anyone about her time with ATTA? OOPS WE'D BETTER HARASS Tesla some more he's putting the pieces together. Since the US has kicked out the Taliban Afghanistan has had record opium crop after opium crop. You don't think that is a coincidence? Go back to your reality tv guys its about all you can handle I think. |
i can't be bothered to click on the link, pay me if you really want me to see it.

Afghanistan does have a record opium crop this year. That is a fact, tesla69, and you are correct. The current opium yield in Afghanistan is more than the whole cocoa crop in all of South America. Just by making one factual point doesn't mean that all you other assertions are correct as well; all it means is that the particular source about the Afghanistan crop is correct. |
Quote:
Atari you are so correct when you say that making one factual point doesn't mean that all my other assertions are correct as well it is simply stunning! By stating this you indeed proved me wrong and the Bush Administration is correct! However, you are absolutely wrong when you assert "the current opium yield in Afghanistan is more than the whole cocoa crop in all of South America". I found on the wikipedia that in South America they grew about 260,000 tons of cocoa, while according to the UN (http://www.unodc.org/pdf/research/AFG07_ExSum_web.pdf) in 2007 there was only 8,200 TONS of opium produced. In my nutball world, 260,000 tons is alot more than 8,200 tons, but in your world atari, I guess not. |
Hmmm, why are you citing wikipedia all of the sudden, douche?
Yes, you are right. What is correct is that the amount of land currently used for growing opium in Afghanistan exceeds the total amount of land currently being used in Columbia, Bolivia and Peru to grow cocoa. http://www.unodc.org/newsletter/en/p...3/page007.html I remembered a metafilter post I scanned over the other day a bit wrong. I should know better than to try and do rapid-posting when I'm busy. I swear I knew I should've checked it before I even posted the remark, but that's how it goes some time in the inter-netting. Here you go, knucklehead: The amount of Afghan land used for growing opium is now larger than the combined total under coca cultivation in Latin America - Colombia, Peru and Bolivia. No other country has produced narcotics on such a deadly scale since China in the 19 th century. Opium in Afghanistan: Eradicate or subsidize? http://www.metafilter.com/65599/geop...-of-opium-2007 |

umm, why wouldn't I cite the wikipedia? Oh thats right because the CIA and others manipulate the data. Glad you remembered that for me. And why the name calling? certainly it proves you have no ability to function in civil adult society. |
Civilized people acknowledge their mistakes and correct them, just as I did. Obstinate fools like yourself routinely disregard science and what should be common sense.
Keep watchin' the skies, shithead. And yeah, my use of language isn't exactly politically correct. Any dumbass should be able to fucking understand that. |

keep twisting in the wind atriana, I'm just happy you're giving me so much attention. You seem to remember more about what I post than I do! What did you do, print out all my posts? |

I give a fuck about Bill Maher's connection with chinese WTC spacemen, but I can't be bothered to call you out on it. however, using the fact that somebody has a better memory than you do never bodes well for making a point. you've called wiki and everybody else under the sun (and stars) a chinese CIA spy. it's easy to remember redundancy. ok, now, back to work. I've reached my idiot quota for the day. |
Quote:
I'm pretty sure I never called the wiki or anyone a "chinese CIA spy". However, if you can show me where I did I'd be appreciative. I've asserted the Pentagon/neocons run an internet/media disinformation office like the Chinese where leatherneck and atari work out of. Its based on 19th Century British Colonial rule tactics where you went in and took out any potential antiempire organization before it started. |

don't be so tedious as to take my words verbatim. if I added "/" between each of those words, would it help yr memory? you have made accusations that various people/things are agents of EITHER the Chinese, CIA, aliens or whatever other shadow fringe entity that is controlling yr nanobots these days. in fact, if I was a gambling man, and I had to pick the person here that I thought would be most likely under the control of some nefarious evil-doers, it would be you, sir. as it's been pointed out (numerous times) you do a disservice to the cause of others that have legitimate concerns over the state of the world today, and if *I* was in charge of hiring secret agents to go forth and besmear the reputation of my enemies, I'd hire you to do the "inside job". PS: have a sun shiney day!! :) PSPS: [codeword:insert/majick/dlbtopsct/start: cydonia//OP:ACTIVATE//scorpo/centauri/UTAH||:stopsend] |

Why is it every post with you seems to come back to Tesla? It makes you wonder? You are either taking the piss or you are little obsessed. You can't call me a left-wing nutjob either because you have a look, my comments are generally either obviously comic or quite reasonable and considered. I don't believe in the theory either but you are simply using every occasion to attack one particular user and over simplify ideas. You might want to consider being a little more reasonable and academic in future. |
[quote=floatingslowly]don't be so tedious as to take my words verbatim.
[quote] well, if you're gonna be making an accusation it should to be accurate. Maybe you're thinking of the time i said that I thought maybe Bush was actually a Chinese agent they used facial transplant technology on...it certainly explains his administrations antiUS activities and I thought it was kind of fucking funny. Certainly funnier than speculating why male prostitue Jeff Gannon stayed overnight at the White House so many times and why Ghouliani maintains a pedophile priest on his staff. |

I realize that I didn't differentiate between Chinese CIA spies and those that are either Chinese, CIA, spies or a combination of two of them (but not more, because that's a whole new horse altogether)!! but I digress, if you cannot make the leap from "Chinese CIA spy" to "Chinese / CIA / spy", how am I supposed to expect that you can put the rest of the "the pieces together"?? personally, I blame: death rays, cyberactive super-computers, the CIA (duh!) and Kim Gordon's panties (mainly because I wanted to find a way to work in a comment about Kim's panties today....worked nicely, don't you think??). classic example of the face-melting that can occur from exposure to death rays (or maybe it was panties, I forget).

WTC7 collapsed because of fire and structural damage, not controlled demolitions:

nice...i got ya all fightin....hahhaaa!
|
i saw this episode also. i thought it was really stupid that they had to go on live...i have no opinion at all really. it was really funny to see Bill go out into the audience and kick that one guy out and then the other while he made fun of them from stage. kind of out of character for his show persona, but kind of cool in that respect that he doesn't put up with that kind of crap.

i hate to point out the obvious, but if you hate these people so much that you just lurk around and wait for them to get into shit to make an appearance, then they must have hurt you pretty bad. marinating in you own grudges and resentments is not very healthy, you know. it is also a disgusting spectacle of lowly feelings. if they beat you up, be a good sport and go away with your tail between your legs, or come back for more if you wish. but your little act makes you look resentful and extra-pathetic. just saying... |

'round these here parts it's y'all. "ya all" makes it sound like you've got a speach impediment to me. and for as much as Tesla makes the left look bad, you make the right look even worse (like it needs any help). PS: are you hot for telsa? is that what this is all about? man-love? that's ok if so, but there's most likely an easier way to get in his pants. |
