I know this guy sounds like an asshole, but why did you leave it so long to report him to paypal? Man, I'm so impatient to get stuff I've paid for, if it takes more than a week I always email the seller saying I'm going to report you to paypal in two days unless I receive my order, and what a surprise, it alway turns up.
You should totally use paypal to report people, afterall, you're paying a percentage of every transaction to paypal so you might aswell use them when things don't turn up. |

"pay what you owe, fucktard". i remember i got ripped off for $100 once on the old board. this was like 4 or 5 years ago, he use to post pretty often so i figured it'd be ok... i sent him $100 for a 4 track, and never heard from him again. he lived in canada too... fucking canucks! :)

yeah, I waited a year because, like I said, he kept sending me emails, "man, sorry for the delay!! I work two jobs! My dad died! I was in the hospital!" blah blah blah. I mean, I'd talked to this guy before, he didn't seem like the con artist type.. it sucks when you trust people... sigh.

It's super lame and everything and I'm not defending this guy in the least, but isn't this an awful lot of effort and energy to expend over 17 bucks?
I could see if it was 170 or 1700, but for $17, I would just cut my losses and move on. I don't know that I would write endless emails and start a web campaign to bring the guy down. |

yeah, i addressed this though, man: it's not the $17. it's the fact i was giving him money to help his label, me just being a nice guy period, and getting walked on for it. not to mention that i'm not the only guy he ripped off. it IS just $17 -- but maybe it'll make him think, 'holy shit, this dude's annoying the fuck out of me over just $17... maybe i shouldn't rip people off anymore.' i mean, either way, he is technically a FELON.

Sent him an email saying he should live up to his end of the deal, especially when someone is doing you a favor. One time a street begger downtown was selling ''weed'' and I felt bad for him, and bought from him. It turned out to be kitchen herbs, and he was twice my size. Trust is something that needs to be acquired with time. I have the same problem with trusting people too easily

I'm pretty sure this band came to Sudbury with a bunch of bands (?) that sound exactly the same. At any rate, I have this free cd I got from somewhere with him and those other bands on it... they all fucking suck... so this only furthers his suckage.
