Ive been getting the emails about this since i was 15, every year.
I have about 100 Buy Nothing Days a year, i have done since before i knew about Buy Nothing Day, and after.
If it makes you feel good, go for it, im not saying it makes you a prick if you do it, i just dont think im in a position to say what its like to stop buying things on impulse
