My father died
I'm so sad.
My brother called me because the police came into his flat and told him that my father's dead body was found at the airport in Verona, Italy. My old man had a heartattack, broke down and died immediatly. This all happend a few days ago. He was 53 years old. We had our problems but he was the most honest and generous man i ever knew. Everything is so fucked up. I don't know what to do. We might have to sell our house and move. My mother is so heartbroke. |
Oh, man.
I am so very sorry. Just a few weeks ago I lost one of my best friends to a heart attack that got him when he was sleeping and it hasn't gotten much easier. But your father? I really don't know what to say other than that I hope you and your family can take strength in each other right now. |
I have no words to express my condolences...
All I can say is be strong in these difficult times. |
I lost my father to cancer when I was 17 years old. As torturous as it was to watch my father slowly whither away and die over two years, I cannot imagine what it must be like to experience such a brutal shock of a wholly unexpected death such as this. You have my sympathies and I hope the best possible for you and your family.
My condolences to you man, it is hard to lose someone. My sympathies go to you and your family.
my sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Condolences, to you and all the family... it's really sad and there are no words for things like this...
Be strong. |
I'm sorry.
That's a tough loss. Hope you are feeling as best as you can soon.

That's awful, I'm really sorry to hear that. My condolences to you and your family.
Im very sorry, i hope you and your family can find strength together.
I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose a parent. You know we're all here for you if you ever need to talk.
I hope you and your family are holding up alright. Sorry to hear of your loss.
deepest condolences to you and yours. take care of each other. our thoughts are with you.
Christoph, please accept my deepest condolences. No matter what, you only have two parents and losing either one of them hurts so bad.
I know how it feels, I lost my mom a year ago. |
I'm so sorry. It's true that the most you can do is stay strong, as I'm sure your father would want you to be. Of course, as I'm sure most people around here would tell you: Listen to music. Allow it to aid you.
Im very sorry to hear this.
This is actually strange considering my dad died last december 22nd of the same thing. He had never even been in a hospital. He was 50 years old. I'll tell you more if it'd make you feel better but I doubt it would. My dad was my rock edit-the most important thing for you to do is be there for your mom and siblings. Don't worry about being strong, just be there for them. |
O man. I'm so very sorry. I don't know what to say, except to offer my condolences-- and if there's anything that we internet creatures can do for you, please let us know-- even if it's just talk.
This is so sad. He was too young.
My condolences to you and your family. |
condolences to you, your family and anyone else close to your father.
ohhh, i'm so sorry, condolences. hope things get solved too.
Oh, man, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's a nightmare to most, myself included, and I can barely imagine what you're going through and I still feel like shit for you. I really don't know what else to say other than sorry to you and your family... and I hope you all relish in many more sunny days together.
wow, i'm sorry to hear that. my condolences as well. i've never experienced the death of an immediate family member...i can't imagine.
Christoph, may I also offer very sincere condolences; you are in my thoughts and my prayers.
So sorry to hear that. God bless.
Very sorry, ATT.
My mother died at 47 of cancer. I was about 25 at the time, and even at that age, it hit hard. Your father was only a year older than I am. |
Having realized the Self, which is soundless, intangible, formless,
undecaying, and likewise tasteless, eternal, and odorless; having realized That which is without beginning and end, beyond the Great, and unchanging--one is freed from the jaws of death. It is written, He who has realized eternal Truth does not see death, nor illness, nor pain; he sees everything as the Self, and obtains all. |
I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine losing my dad. My heart goes out to you and your family.
ATT, was he having other health problems? Obesity, heart history, high blood pressure? Or did this come out of the blue? Maybe it was the stress of dealing with an airport.
Thank you all for your kind words.

He always had stess. His health wasn't bad, he tried to live healthy and all. He had a serious alcohol problem a few years ago but didn't drink anything for the last years. I guess it was his way of living, allways busy and in stress, always here and there flying around all over the world. He had been to so many beautiful places, WE had been to so many beautiful places. It is so fucking unreal. I just can't believe it and would never have thought that i could feel what i feel right now. It's so fucking unreal. |
Sorry again, dude.
i'm very sorry to hear that; 53 is too young to lose a parent.
wish you and your family all the best in coping with the difficult times ahead. |
