Download my Album Now!!!

Just finished mastering it this afternoon:
Download the album here

Artist: Mesh Gear Fox
Album: Mesh Gear Fox
Genre: Electronica
Year: 2008
1. (Get)set/(Pre)set - (7:21)
2. Aw, Thanks Nth Pixe! - (5:34)
3. Amen - (3:46)
4. Loyal Education Field - (3:47)
5. Kickin' 16's - (4:55)
6. Digital Signal Processing - (3:08)
7. Make Friends With Squares - (3:19)
8. 5pm City Shade - (4:28)
9. Undo & Redo - (3:15)
10. Transition (Deliberately Long and Repetitive Version) - (6:03)
11. My 909 Flashback - (5:28)
12. From Static to Start - (4:31)

Included in the download is a big picture of the album cover and a text file with information and a list of samples. The music is a variety of electronica styles, such as Ambient Techno, Drill 'n' Bass, Trip Hop, House, Trance, Rave, Video Game Music and Death Metal, sometimes in the same song. Thus, they are incoherent arrangements, with hardly any structure, but if you enjoy Aphex Twin, Mu-ziq, Squarepusher or DJ Shadow, you should be able to find something on here you like.

Anyway, it's free, so enjoy!

SYRFox 01.05.2008 06:22 AM

I'm downloading it now, I'll give you feedback

ZEROpumpkins 01.05.2008 06:26 AM

Thanks, man! If you could put it under your Soulseek folder that'd be rad.

nicfit 01.05.2008 06:31 AM

dling will listen soon and copyright with my name the best songs :D

ZEROpumpkins 01.05.2008 06:32 AM

I wish there was a way to stop that...
The best I could do was to make the text file read-only.

atsonicpark 01.05.2008 08:28 AM

haha i'm on 56k right now but I'll be at my grandpa's on dsl tomorrow and will d/l.

thanks!

SYRFox 01.05.2008 12:01 PM

Okay, I listened to the whole album a few hours ago. There's a few things I don't like (those rave-like synths on some tracks), but I enjoyed most of the stuff on it, there's a few killers (Kicking 16's, Digital Signal Processing), some really beautiful things (the intro/outro of the album for example), and the beat programmation is well done.
A good listen!

Downloading now.

StevOK 01.05.2008 02:36 PM

I'm attempting to download it now, but since I'm pirating my neighbors' wireless, it could take more than one attempt.

I need to get my shit together and record an album. I've done session work in a studio. It can't be much harder to do everything myself.

StevOK 01.05.2008 03:37 PM

Well I'll be, it downloaded the first try. I'll listen to it as soon as I can. Seems neato.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 01.05.2008 04:22 PM

I'm on Amen now, god I love the Amen Break.
Very good stuff though dude, pretty fucking sweet.
You should put this on a label. [wink, wink]

PAULYBEE2656 01.05.2008 04:48 PM

gonna dl later and let u know when i get a chance to listen.. steveok..... downloading that album now! sweet choice may i add..............

StevOK 01.05.2008 05:57 PM

Listening now. It is way cool. Love the Zep samples. I have a friend who would worship this, so I'll be sending giving him a copy next time I see him.

And Paulybee, that is my favorite album ever, so enjoy it. Sorry it's only 128kbps.

ZEROpumpkins 01.05.2008 07:50 PM

Glad to hear some good things. SYRfox, which songs did you think had lame synths? I'm guessing one of then is Undo & Redo. Oh and I forget to credit "In Limbo" by Radiohead in my sample list. That sample is very noticeably used in Loyal Education Field.

SYRFox 01.06.2008 04:17 AM

In fact those synths wer mostly in "My 909 Flashback", and I think that's all... They did not really bother me on other tracks

ZEROpumpkins 01.06.2008 11:23 PM

Fair enough. Good thing it's shoved at the back, eh?

ALIEN ANAL 01.08.2008 06:24 AM

i havnt had the chance to download it yet, but iv listened to most of your myspace tunes, there was one particular one on there that me and my friend thought was groovey

whilst we were listening to it my friend came around and he picked up this drill that was on the floor and started making it buzz, and it worked well with the tunes.

StevOK 01.08.2008 11:50 AM

I liked a lot of it. Some of it annoyed me, but hey, all electronica albums annoy me at least a little bit. Great effort, especially for someone who is young and has a lot of time to develope their music.

ZEROpumpkins 01.08.2008 08:07 PM

Cool, thanks for the feedback. Might I ask which bits annoyed you for future reference?

forkimified 01.08.2008 08:28 PM

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 01.09.2008 04:05 AM

when winrar expires you don't have to buy it, it just says "you're trial has expired, please buy it" but you can continue using it. The same with winzip.

I love them :)

Torn Curtain 01.09.2008 10:32 AM
