All the chicks on the show are ugly, fake, and speak with the most stilted dialogue ever. Everything sounds SOOOOOOO fake coming out of their mouths. The plot lines are terrible. It's an awful show.

What is so upsetting about this show? It's been discussed several times already on this board.
It's much more intelligently delivered than most things on television these days. I prefer it over all those pathetic reality televion shows, that involved no more thought than how to apply mascara.

The dialogue is pretty snappy (My sister is watching it right now). There are worse shows on TV.

i watched it yesterday for the first time as rte (irish state broadcaster) is now showing it on saturday lunchtimes......

what was everyone saying that its great for the last 2 years for? ok, thurst and coco were on it but so what... its a dreadful programme. i lasted 10 minutes and thought to myself..... why the fuck am i trying to watch this shit when i could easily be off doing something else like gouging out my eyeballs with a rusty ice cream scoop!

but i actually agree with this. they're playing this show on tv all the time, even in the mornings (which is when i watch it before i go to school)

the dialogue can work, but some of the actors ruin it. like taylor or luke, they cant act for shit. but luke fucking sucks. i hate him with his cuntish hat. what a twat.

both of them are pretty hot, but i prefer alexis than the mom.

Right. Now the bandwagon begins. I've professed my love for the show many times here and elsewhere, only to face recrimination from all quarters. What I like best are the cultural allusions, but I love the banter between mom and daugther. I don't like some of the side characters, though--they can be a bit one-dimensional and just downright goofy.

this show does have a really high proportion of screentime dedicated to jailbait and MILF... that being said, the dialogue gets annoying really fast.

she's 26 years old as of now.. but i see what you mean.
btw, I'm not a big fan actually, I mainly love the voices of the italian dubbers (a real rarity lately) and it's kinda fun for a few minutes...I think I never watched a full episode in my whole life, and I actually do not know much about the plot or anything ah aha. Still, there's plenty worse stuff going on on tv (over here, at least).

i loved it from season 1-4, part of it because it reflects something close to home and the other because it's funny.

season 5 and on, gawd!!!! so terrible.

and yes, alexis bledel and lauren graham are hot. those girls who played madeline and louise are also hot.

I was always more into "Dawson's Creek", not that its any better.

those women are hot but i never could stand that show. horrible dialogue. maybe if it was silent, and they were naked. now that i'd pay to see.

Any one who knows me on this board knows my love for "The Wonder Years". Between that and "DC" they are uncomparable. "The Wonder Years" transcends any age bracket of viewership. I was being more WB network specific. Carry on.

I grew up with the original Degrassi. Fantastic that you're from Mexico and a fan of such a wonderful television show.
