so the whole sonic youth site is unreachable by civilians

i am not sure of the dates myself. i know there is a grace period of 3 months after your domain expires when you can buy it back; there is also a date of nov 2007 there so i don't know.

as long as the server maintains the IP address 216.70.73.169 we can keep using it; the domain name server simply translates sonicyouth.com into that numerical address. if ownership of the name is in limbo (the contract with universal is over and universal owned the domain) then this might be a bit of trouble for the sonic youf weggsite.
