i'm going to be in dallas for ten days towards the end of the month, and early april. give me cool things to do, good record stores, or somebody to make out with.

that kind of stuff.

haha, bars would sound better if i had some sort of false identification (as i can die for my country, but i still can't fucking buy a beer). if you know anything about that, then PLEASE be my tour guide. ;)

why will you be in Dallas?

years ago I would have been able to give you ideas of things to do, but both Dallas and I have moved on.

Can you go to the local pools and take an aqua class? You can do research for me. Eventually Im sure I will be able to get there when there is call for promotion for my boyfriends parents biz. I totally have my heart set on Dallas/ southern eastern states.

dallas is pretty fun. i've seen some awesome shows their and had some amazing drunk times in the bars. but most of the clubs are full of fuck tards.

my dad lives there, so i'm deciding to spend spring break hanging in the area just to get the hell away from florida for a few days.

phoenix-an aqua class? like aqua aerobics? that actually sounds fun. if i do indeed get around to it, i'll tell you.

amoeba records on haight street. check out the restaurant with a big pig's head above the doors. i'm remembering the looks of the place off the top of my fuzzy head, but i know it's right across from a store with a gigantic pair of legs coming out the window. haight is generally fun.

aquarius records on valencia is fun. took me forever to find. amoeba is a lot bigger, but aquarius has a bit more subterranean stuff.

fisherman's wharf, chinatown.. the whole touristy area, etc, is still really fun. try and find a rickshaw if you can, because riding a rickshaw two summers ago with my family right around noon with the breeze in the air is one of my favorite memories. chinatown is a trip.

btw, try and find out when "spare the air" day is and if there's one while you're out there. all public transportation in the bay area is free on that day, and two years ago we got lucky and went to sf that day, and we could hop buses/trolleys all day.

never actually been, but i've heard from my cousins that bottom of the hill is a fun place for shows.

i know it's just a borders, but i like the borders on market street.

hm. if i can remember anything else, i'll edit this post.

also, if it's possible, make the 30 minute rail ride to san jose and hang out there.

san francisco is generally the best place on earth. i really hope i can make it out there this summer. my family lives down in san jose/moffett field, so i'm trying to see if i can find a spare couch between the three house choices.

my plans are all generally falling into place for school. it's just logistics now and really thinking about where i want to be in terms of now and the future.

Yeah, I still wish I could have gone to New York, but I am easily anxious about San Francisco as well.

i've never been more than a mere tourist, but san francisco seems such a happy town. i wouldn't be too worried.

i'm freaked out here because i don't know, nerves about whether or not i can put some stuff in motion. overall i think i'll be fine, though.
