Album covers without the band name or album title on the front cover

Surprisingly, there aren't many. Not surprisingly, there are a few. Or something like that.

I could think of these:

John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band
Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band
Velvet Underground & Nico
Between the Buttons
Their Satanic Majesties Request
More Songs about Buildings and Food

What are some others?

Death & the Maiden 04.11.2008 11:16 PM

What about the first Rolling Stones' album? I think it only had the label name on the cover.

schizophrenicroom 04.11.2008 11:55 PM

In the Wake of Poseidon and Larks' Tongues in Aspic also don't have any mention of the band name or album title on the cover as far as KC goes.

And I'm not sure why I thought of this one right away in particular, but The Flowers of Romance fits the bill too.

There's probably a fuckton more.

The image you posted is not the official cover, meaning that you wouldn't find the words "Tool" and "10,000 Days" printed in white on the cover of a physical copy. There is only a clear sticker with red printing attached to the outside of the shrink wrap. If you consider the sticker a part of the artwork, then you'd also have to say that Ænima had the band name and album title on the cover.

me too!!!!

but i wouldn't go as far as saying they started to suck hard on lateralus, that one it's like half great half boring, when i finally bought it i was like "yes!!! finally!!!", then i listened to it and i just wandered off after "lateralis", and then came to again and wondered if they were still playing.

PAULYBEE2656 04.16.2008 11:35 AM
