me too...i'm actually vaugely disturbed by this....cuz if you try to search for sonic youth on the site it says no results..yet there are about 8 other cd's on the site to be released on june 10th ,,,i had written starbucks twice and they were swell to respond and told me it would be available in aforementioned cities and online the morning of the release (which they say is june 10th)
so i dunno...if someone ends up with it...rub it in here or something

yeah the starbucks site is no-fun.i just ordered a copy of the cd a couple minutes ago..hope ti gets here by weeks end.there is a big hype up on the site to buy these releases on ITUNES...but hits are for squares isn't there...but master dik is....weird

starbucks blows. Ive already been to two stores this morning that were supposed to have the CD and neither did. One of the stores opened their box right in front of me (because they had yet to put out the new releases yet) only to find they weren't shipped any copies.

i live 1 block from three different starbucks in a pretty popular area in los angeles, and their cd racks generally are 90% empty. its probably just because of theft that they keep them empty, but man....does it look ghetto.

it looks like on their website they took down the mess of a list that said which stores would actually be carrying the record.

i ordered it at 4:30 am...went out for a bit..and checked my email and it is on backorder..meaning they don;t have any?...??????/WTF....i'm beggining to think this is a joke..i beg anybody here..if u get one..post u got it here...i'm being a little obsessive here.....but seriously i'm pretty obsessive about sonic youth in general

i just basically want the new track and remastered versions of the songs, it's a shame this compilation has been so awkward to get hold off, as far as im concerned nobody has it yet... and when they do I'm hoping they'll be kind enough to upload it to rapidshare.
