late night music
 

what music do you like to listen to late at night?

i want some music i can play around 2 or 3 am, when i'm usually alone on my computer. sometimes i put on interpol's turn on the bright lights, and i want something and kinda sounds like that album (ie, the guitars and the really rich, kind of glacial sound). its either totbl or sister/evol for me.

eta: loveless is pretty awesome, but i want something new.

Nothing beats Loveless at night.

Miles Davis is always good.

I usually want to be w/ the Most High when listening to music late @ night, so I guess I'd go w/ some George Harrison, "All Things Must Pass".

I usually listen to soft rock at night. Stuff I'm guessing many people here wouldn't be into.

Honestly, I like Wolf Eyes' Burned Mind at night... Really creepy, but makes me feel snug in my bed and covers; not sure why. :)

I dunno, I'll listen to anything, anytime. But, Jeff Buckley - Grace does for some reason sound better at night, umm, same with A Thousand Leaves.

i always always listen to music at night before i sleep, its pretty much the only time i ever use my ipod. i usually listen to elliott smiths first album roman candle then his second the self titled one all the way through. then his last from a basement on the hill, although i pick and chose the songs, they are all in completely the wrong order on that album, he wouldent have put his songs in that order if he had been here to do it, if you listen to his music enough you start to realise stuff like that. well, thats what i listened to last night.
ive spent the whole of today listening to Heatmiser so i might mix some of their stuff into the list tonight.

oh also mazzy star is really nice to listen to in the evening and afternoon.
