ok no here is a more sophisticated scheme

when you buy the comic book you get a code to download music-- a soundtrack for the comic book

then when you open certain pages or touch a button or whatever the fuck the book signals to the music player to switch tracks.

sorta like those disney books with a record from the prehistory of mankind

No, I would not buy a Sonic Youth comic book.

I probably wouldn't buy it. I like comics, but I usually only like the superhero type stuff. It would have to be really good, and I don't think it would be.

well it would be part music inspired, part myth inspired (if sonic youth have any myths about them)

the art would be wacky at times, inspired by their music
would have cameos from other bands

I just can't imagine it being very good. It would be like Penny Arcade for music, in full comic book form. Or some mock-superhero thing that wasn't very funny. I dunno. It could work, I suppose, but it would take a whole lot of innovation.
