Your Favourite go-to Restaurant
Not somewhere you'd necessarily choose for a special occasion, but one that you can always rely on to serve up exactly what you like, exactly how you like it.
|
Chili's.
|
Macaroni Grill
Which is owned by Chili's. |
Wagamama's, for the Chicken Katsu Curry.
|
Chain: Romano's Macaroni Grill. Dish: Margherita Pizza
When I'm at school it's Trino's Pizza for a medium cheese. Also, when I'm near it. El Matador. Perfect salsa and quesadillas. Quote:
Good show. |
the italian bastard round my corner. always pissed, always kinda lazy, but makes best f*ckin pizza (and pasta) all over the place
|
Also CPK(California Pizza Kitchen)
|
Little Caesers because they have $5 pizzas. Chipotle is usually good too.
|
The Little Cottage in Soho, for the bisteca Barolo, with sauteed potatos and fried asparagus. Heavenly.
|
I'd also like to add the North Shore Brasserie (Belgian recipes) because it has awesome French Onion soup (better than I had in Europe even) and great creme brulee with every changing flavors. Plus, it's a perfect date restaurant.
|
creme brulee could be the best dish in the unverse, especially when you find a dedicated restaurnt in paris and pay 10 euros for it (but not in an overpriced restaurant at a famous place)
believe me, its worth it, I can give an adress if somebody is interested :) |
Last time I had it was Spiced Apple and was complete bliss.

A good French onion soup is one of life's true pleasures. |
Yes it is. I'll be going there very soon for a nice bowl of it.

a few hours afterwards it could be the opposite |
Arf & Ale's café. Proper run-down, yellow-walled, geriatric-strewn deathnest that serves fine bacon & black pudding sandwiches and Irish-strength tea for a fair price. Guaranteed to sort out the worst of hangovers.

As someone who will eat virtually anything when placed between two slices of crusty white bread, I have to say that the idea of sandwichising black pudding is one option I would usually pass on. However, the more I think about it, the more I'm finding the idea quite brilliant. to the degree that I may have to make myself one in the morning. I'm assuming that brown sauce is an utterly essential ingredient. |
Personally, I can't abide brown sauce - but bacon and black pudding (it helps if it's that proper, thick-as-a-baby's-arm black pudding soused in grease) sandwiches are manna from the Gods.
I am not responsible for your aortae. |
what is black pudding? I mean...black...?
|
Too many good restaurants to choose a favorite.
|
|
Black pudding + fried bread = heart attack heaven.
|
Auf Deutsch, blutwurst.
|
The Ruan Orchid in Chester. The best Thai food, beautifully presented, in a lovely atmosphere with nice staff.

It's a sausage made from dead nubians. They sell it in backwater hamlets such as Bristol, which if memory serves me correctly is somewhere in England. |
panera's veggie sandwich is never short of good, chili's chicken fingers, and denny's at three am.

for the record, that has 1880 calories and 130 grams of fat! in fact, everything at chili's is grotesquely fattening. i just looked at their nutritional information. my place to go is galileo... found here. chipotle tortelli... YUM. |
My favorite restaurant is a stir fry place, where you pay by weight. It fucking amazingly good.

i am taking a break from my sabbatical to say holy shit. i've never ate more than one at a time, though. kid meal-portion. |
at home - Thai Cuisine, great affordable food, everything i have had is great Pad Thai, Panang, Pad Ka Pow, Fried Tofu, Satay, Mango with Sticky Rice , all so tasty
|
Narin Thai, an asian-fusion thai restaurant in the next town over from me.
Their lunch specials are dirt cheap and always delicious, wonderful atmosphere and the best jasmine tea served brought to you in small handmade clay teapots. It's never crowded either for reasons I will never understand. |
