Yeah it was discussed a few weeks ago actually :D still it's now on Smalltown Supersound website, so I think we're now pretty sure it's legit :) I still think The Eternal sounsd sucky though

fuck no. i think it will be more experimental album than rather ripped, something like nyc gf + sonic nurse! ;d but the truth is that theirs albums, don't suck at all .

No no I don't mean that THE ALBUM will sound sucky, NYC Ghosts & Flowers is my second favorite SY album, Sonic Nurse is in my top 10 too
I meant that the title "The Eternal" sounds sucky

I don't mind the title if that's what it turns out to be. It makes a certain amount of sense for a group who has been getting articles written about how they're not young anymore for some 15+ years now.

Domino? Not a bad choice if true; i thought they were gonna use Ecsatatic peace.

"The Eternal"? well could well be a working title, but we recently got "The Neutral" which the most generic post MurraySt sonic jam ever if you ask me.
The Eternal kind of brings me back to Diamond Sea-like vibes but hey who knows...

you know they're sonic youth they always have songs, thurston is big sonic songs writer, he has always some new ideas.

i just hope that lee and kim also have large contributions, i think that too much thurston could result in this album sounding too similar to the last few, and i think its time for a slight change in direction...
