It is my favorite album of all time because it powers a flow of sick twisted mindfuckwarpocity to my pre-frontal cortex, bypassing the limbic and the early mammalioan brain and scrambling up my neural circuits, allowing me to rewrite the meta scripts in my brain through which I filter all of experience.

because i'm an angry person. with anger issues. and when you're an angry person AND in high school.. you need this album. four+ years ago, this album got me through the shittiest high school experience ever. i had a lot to say but didn't say it. and this album.. well.. pretty much said it for me.

The Birthday Party - "Junkyard"

I bought this an an 18-year old spazzhead, and more than any other record I've heard since, it totally changed and influenced the way I liked music. The songs are all killer, the musicianship is awesome, Cave's lyrics and vocals are peerless, and THAT album cover. Even now, nearly 20 years later, I still never get tired of listening to this LP.

I don't think you could describe Pink Floyd as badass.
