Has anyone watched this show. It's on HBO and about vampires haha.

I think it's great and will be watching it tonight at 9.

Yeah, I'm DVRing it tonight.....I'll be watching the football game.

So far, it's just ok. I think the characters are kind of flat....I was hoping for more. The only interesting character so far is Bill.

Plus, I think the vampires are kind of cheesy. Bill is cool though....he's kind of like a normal person and not all gothy/stereotypical.

If the majority of the show takes place in the that little diner, then I think the series is going to be really boring.

This will only be the third episode, so hopefully it gets better.

I like it. I especially like the intro. Just putting that out there.

The only new show I watch isn't that new anymore but I still like it, not as much as I used to but that mindset will probably change when it starts again. so of course i'm talking about LOST, any other takers here? maybe most of you think it's stupid

i've been watching.. the idea's really cool, i mean campires being out there and halfway socially acceptable, but so far the acting's shit, the music is weird, and it's pretty goofy. i'm hooked though haah

I used to love Hellsing so much.

True Blood is filthy, I can't stop watching it. Over and over and over.

Yeah, I made that my sig and then a few days later he had it. I thought it really didn't matter because I hardly ever post, I mostly read. But I believe he has since changed it. I have won.


By the way, I was so disappointed that Bill and Sookie didn't get it on in episode three.

Disappointed. I had high hopes, considering it comes from the same guy who created Six Feet Under. Corny, one-dimensional, badly written, and badly acted.

last couple episodes were pretty nice, much better than previous ones.

Hellsing is my favorite Anime(1 season yeah I know) but it is the shit.
Alucard is my favvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee

Its got some hot ladies on that show.

I'm really interested in checking this out! Alan Ball directs it, but I don't know if it can even live up to the expectations after writing Six Feet Under. Most other series out there are incomparable.

Alan Ball didn't write/direct all episodes, like in many other series a "team" of writers/directors is involved, and honestly some of the other "guys" did a better job (at least in some episodes), I'd say the best thing is not to start watching it with his previous work in mind. But I understand what you mean!

season 2 started and I loved the first 3 episodes.

yeah, season 1 was often a bit slow and out of focus, took a bit too long to introduce characters and plots/subplots, but the last few episodes left a lot of interesting develpoments hanging...and the first 3 episodes of season 2 are definitely fun and , ermm, "lively".

I have not been impressed thus far. It's no Buffy.

Yes, it's no buffy, it's definitely less fun, but I still think it's interesting, and with a good potential to become even more interesting..

I'm torrenting the entire 1st season solely because it has Anna Paquin.

I did not clue into the fact that Sookie is the chick from Fly Away Home and X Men!

That seriously fucks with my head.

What's even worse is that in the movie The Squid and The Whale, she and Jeff Daniels are lovers and he played her father in Fly Away Home.

Jeff Daniels doesn't look like Jeff Daniels in Fly Away Home either. I think it's the beard. Either that or I'm just right fucked in the head and can't recognize anyone.

I wish my dad was the way he is in Fly Away Home. Lets me keep geese, has a bad ass glider thing, and invents random shit.

I think he's my fav (in a non homosexual way) too.
"Is there blood in my hair?" ha ha I loved that scene.
Sookie is a bit annoying, yes, but some of her lines (like "I always loved theese, they're like boooooze for doooolls.....they gave me ten!") are priceless...Another fav of mine: Lafayette.
And Jessica for obvious reasons.


Overall I'm really happy about the "pace" of this new season , s1 was a bit too slow, even if you could "see" there were many interesting thing that could come out of the series after all the characters had been introduced and the first story arc ended.

The girl ad I watched the first season in two days. We loved it.

I'm loving the Wire second season at the moment. and Heroes first season.

I've watched the 1st 8 episodes in two days and I'm hooked, too bad I have to take today and most of tomorrow off.

No doubt.
Aaaand, the scene where he "talks like a normal person" to the guys guarding the church door is amazing.
And the dialogue with sookie right before that cracks me up.
His sense of fashion is a bit hit and miss (come on, a fuckin' black tank top at the "welcome home" party of your maker??), but he's amazing.
