Big Black is one of the few bands that I like (besides punk/hardcore bands) my punk/hardcore can understand. Mainly because of the lyrics.

my band ruinhorse was going to cover was bad penny but we broke up... Scissor Shock covered passing complexion. So, I have some attachment to those songs as well.

Love the jackhammer drumbeat! It's probably one of Big Black's angriest songs (Fish Fry being the most angriest).

Hmm I don't recall right now. Maybe it's not a cover, but I was always under the impression it was for some reason. Oh well. Great song.

I really don't think it is. "Heartbeat" is a Wire cover, but aside from that and the Cheap Trick/Kraftwerk single, I don't think they did any other covers. But I could be wrong. I didn't know about "Heartbeat" for a long while.

Rema-Rema is a cover , and The Big Payback is a cover of J Brown ( hardly recognisable ).

I said it before. It's grown on me a lot more, but I still prefer Atomizer.

To me, the songs on Atomizer are noisier and more melodic than the ones on Songs About Fucking which just seem tinny and undeveloped. I'm going to listen to it again soon...

i like songs about fucking more just because the songs are more abrasive and dark. plus the album title is pretty damn funny. anytime my mom looks at the cd she just shakes her head.
