I'm sure if you went to a Smiths or Cure board and did this same thing, you'd get more like 1-5 or 1-7 belonging to the house band. My only surprise is that Evol and Confusion both beat out Bad Moon Rising, but then if SYRFox had voted it wouldn't have gone that way...

Surprised to see Over the Edge at such a high placement, yet Youth of America is nowhere to be found.

They're both great, but I would have thought it to be the other way around.

Seven of my top 25 got in. I'm surprised that The Cure's Seventeen Seconds didn't get in, but Faith, Pornography and Disintegration did.

although i'm not a fan, it's obvious these two + the Fall were MAJOR influences on anything having to do with indiepop in the 90's....
