any Ut fans in the house?
 

Just bought an album by this band, 'Griller', they're like a cross between the No Wave bands (well, they WERE a No Wave band) and Daisy Chainsaw or something. Awesome stuff, any fans, and any further recomendations?

one of the women from Ut is now in a band called Dial who are pretty excellent

ut rock.. daisy chainsaw rocked as well for a very short period of time but i dont see the similarities....

Their two albums have been reissued and are fairly easy to find, and cheap. Amazon is probably the best bet.

I don't really use soulseek anymore, I'd prefer to buy some Dial stuff.

A few months ago I went through a whole two weeks of playing them every day.

yeah i love them. check these records s/t, live, and conviction.

I've been playing Griller non-stop for the past few days. It is fucking brilliant. Earlier this evening bidding ended for a rare Ut live LP "Early Live Life" but sadly I didn't win it.

One of the vocalists from Ut sounds uncannily like Katie Jane Garside does in Daisy Chainsaw.

i'm quite familiar with both and i disagree. anyway, this is the first time i've heard anyone mention daisy chainsaw in about 15 years.

how does ut and daisy chainsaw sound anyway similar.... i love both bands well daisy chainsaws first album, the rest is bollocks... katie jane sounds nothing like ut........
