that's majorly hit or miss. well, considering the lack of anything that is grounded in coherent thought, it is pretty aimless and can't provoke to save its life...

It wasn't Lee that did this, it was Christian Marclay. It was a tribute to a black man that was murdered by being draged on the back of the truck and he wanted people to really grasp the reality of it.

That Christian Marclay piece is fantastic. He gets a brand new fender out of the box and does some serious securing and away it went. His video work is remarkable, has anyone seen the one where he has four or so screens all playing different famous scenes from films such as the Godfather where music is being performed and he uses that as the audio? Very nice.

I haven't scene either one. Just read about them before. Any idea where I can see them online?

Haha, I put up with that so much from my friends, Im used to it. Theyre all like "this noise is terrible! Sonic youth isnt famous therefore they must suck! I wanna listen to my bowling for soup CD!" Some people just dont feel the same way about certain music. Even on this forum there are alot of different opinions, just goes to show. I wouldnt get so pissed at her. There are remarkably few anti-Sonic Youth somments on the internet, actually.
