I remember that Junko (with JOJO and Toshi Ishizuka) was the first proper noise gig I'd ever been to, aged like 15, and it fucking destroyed me in my innocence. All I really remember is total mind-fucking horror and pain followed by me leaving after like 5-10 minutes. Since then I've gained a much better appreciation of such intense music, and would likely enjoy it tremendously now, but DAMN I found it harsh at the time.

My housemate thought it was one of the worst things he's ever watched, and he's an ardent japsphile. Dork.
