Board Members' Bands You Are Curious About Hearing

Any boardies' bands you are curious to hear but can't or haven't got round to it?

I have a very slow modem, so it's not practical for me to listen to downloads, but when I go broadband I'm intrigued to hear what these peoples' music sounds like:

Savage Clone (I have two Salamander CDs, but would like to hear some Skye Klad and some Gentle Tasaday)
CHOUT
Everyneurotic
Shentov
Marleypumpkin

No offence intended to anyone I haven't mentioned, you're just not pushing your wares enough that I can remember them.

Glice 06.12.2006 08:02 AM

I'll send files to anyone, preferably in the UK, who wants to do gig swaps, but otherwise I can't be arsed to up my bands music.

On that note, if people in the UK want to PM me about gig swaps, then I would love to hear from you.

Phlegmscope 06.12.2006 08:13 AM

Is Cheap Science Fiction still active? I heard some freaky rumors about their flutist.

porkmarras 06.12.2006 08:33 AM

Mr Clone's music i have known now for a number of years and it's pure class.
I didn't know that shentov was a musician so it would be nice to hear some stuff from him.

porkmarras 06.12.2006 08:37 AM

Accidentally,Glice could you please post the link to your band's music again as i have had to delete quite a few of my pms because the inbox was full? Thanks.

Hip Priest 06.12.2006 08:39 AM

I'd like shentov and _slavo_ to put stuff up, as neither of them have done so for a long time, unless I've missed it.

porkmarras 06.12.2006 08:41 AM

You see, this threads are crap because i always forget some people i'd like to mention.Of course i'd love to hear some stuff from _slavo_.

Hip Priest 06.12.2006 08:43 AM

_slavo_'s ambient pieces are most enjoyable, as it happens.

Also, we had a lad from Chile (I think). I can't remember his band's name, but they did a track called 'Batterias Intoxicas' or simlar that was more than decent. And someone else had a band called safeashome who were nice too.

Phlegmscope 06.12.2006 08:46 AM

Last saturday my musician friend wanted to form a band with me and another non musician. I'm supposed play the chord E with my acoustic, while the other guy is pounding the toms and the musician one is making electric guitar noise. I'm not sure if my friends remember any of this planning anymore though.

I've been wanting to get a couple Salamander albums for quite a time already but it's a bit of a hassle because they're not imported here.

I'd like to hear more from Whorefrost's band...
Also I'm sure that in the dark and distant past on the old board Toilet & Bowels [under another guise] was doing something that sounded interesting... ?
