i was 2 days late paying my cc bill... whats gonan happen?

so i get home from visintg family, and it was due on 1/1/09... bastards, wtf? thats a holiday... so i paid by phone today... for the full amount, what happens? do i lose credit score points? pay like $3 of interest next month? i'm young,

demonrail666 01.03.2009 06:04 PM

They'll probably just add some kind of surcharge next month or something. You'll be lucky to get away with just $3 interst though. More likely you can add a nought to that if it's anything like my bank, who seem to be avoiding the recession solely by penalising me for my lack of financial responsibility.

EVOLghost 01.03.2009 06:07 PM

lol Thank you for reminding me to pay my phone bill.

Add a "zero", making it $30, I do believe.

greedrex 01.03.2009 06:30 PM

He means not $3, but rather $30.
naught = zero

i usually mail it in... no later than the day before... i have never seen any charge for a "late fee"... and i always pay the full balance... i have never paid the minimum... i don't think i've ever maxxed out

shentov 01.04.2009 05:01 AM

paying bills sucks. and i suck at paying my bills.

You can always call the 1-800 number and talk with a representative. I'm sure they can answer all of your questions and maybe give you some peace of mind about the situation.

ok, thanks... i thought about calling but i hate talking to the automated response systems for 10 minutes before getting to a "human"

also, i thought maybe if i dont bring it up... they might... forget, or drop it?
