A neat little 2008 album I COMPLETELY overlooked and was meaning to listen to. I've heard it now and I can safely say that this stuff is great.

Inventive, original, topped off with weird melodies and insane vocals...

I've been meaning to look them up. I had this mp3 called "Shake Your Brains" that I thought was pretty cool and recently re-listened to it.

This album is great.

The singer sounds just like the dude from the VSS...

It's like Swans meets Bangles.

I just remembered who this band remind me of... Time of Orchids! But less schizophrenic and angular I guess.

@SYRFox: I'm actually sort of glad about that... I'd rather they deliver one more really strong album than keep churning it out long after the creativity well has dried up.

what if they did release more than one really strong album? personally i'd rather see them still alive: if they did release bad albums i'd still have those great albums and would just ignore the new ones, and they would probably release more great music anyway. but i guess they got their reasons for splitting, so eh. still sad not being able to see them again.

Hm, I don't know, I admire a band that has enough guts to go out on top.

I always liked this band.
