Not that big into horror movies. I liked House of a 1000 Corpses, though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ry_death_scene
I used this very comprehensive list when I couldn't think what gory scene to paint next recently. 20 pages of movie deaths, most from horror films also, for low budget or notorious or just bad b-movie horror, you can't beat this torrent site http://tracker.zaerc.com/ |
the first dracula is cool, but its not scary at all, the cover is great too

28 Days Later is my favorite.
|
"Poltergist"
"Nightmare On Elm Street" "Alfred Hitchcock's Pyscho" "Hitchcock's Frenzy" |

Yeah, 'The Devil's Backbone' is a Spanish film - well worth checking out. It's not 'horror' in the slasher sense or whatever - it's more like one of those horror films that might be better classed as 'supernatural drama' or something. I dunno, it's a quality film either way. |
mine are:
halloween the nightmare on elm streets upto 4 the friday the 13th's texas chainsaw massacre the driller killer audition evil dead there are some films which i dont really count as horror, but are very scary like the shining, ring or the woman in black. |

Devils backbone is very vert good, its a little like a spanish civil war set Sixth Sense (was made before it though).
My fav horror flick right now is The Descent, it really scared me at the cinema. But Texas Chainsaw Massacre is probably the best ever made. I also liked Hostel a lot. I really love The Hitcher too. |
the exorcist
texas chainsaw |
The Exorcist
The Blair Witch Project The Devil's Rejects Texas Chainsaw Massacre House of 1000 Corpses 28 Days Later Child's Play (1,2 & 3 + Bride of Chucky & Seed of Chucky) EDIT: The Amityville Horror really scared me for some reason, I saw it in the theater with my friend and squeezed her arm so hard I gave her a bruise haha. |
Even though it's only mindless killing throughout the movie, The Hills Have Eyes scared the shit out of me in the theatre.
