My own private sauna.

The a/c upstairs has gone out, which means its 80 fucking degrees up here, even with many fans on. Blach. Unfortunatly, my room and general spot in the house is upstairs. This blows monkey balls.

Oh well. I suppose I can think of it like....uh....camping. Sort of.

Somebody post some cheese to accompany my whine, please.

:)

Gouda.

joe11121 05.07.2009 09:17 PM

Here's some more..

NaiveMelody 05.07.2009 09:24 PM

The cheese is melty. Or is that me? Hmmmmmmm.

I think I'm sleeping on the couch downstairs tonight, like a husband in the doghouse.

I was hoping somebody would get the reference. Thank you. :)

Tear it into string! Don't bite it whole!

NaiveMelody 05.07.2009 09:34 PM

I remember when string cheese was cool to have in your lunchbox as a kid.

joe11121 05.07.2009 09:35 PM

I still bring it to school.

Alex's Trip 05.07.2009 09:36 PM

Hell yeah, me too. Love it.

NaiveMelody 05.07.2009 09:39 PM

I don't think I've had it in years. I need to tell my mom to buy some string cheese.

joe11121 05.07.2009 09:40 PM

That's a good idea.

NaiveMelody 05.07.2009 09:40 PM

She'll proabably tell me to buy my own.

joe11121 05.07.2009 09:41 PM

Hah, sounds like my mother.

NaiveMelody 05.07.2009 09:42 PM

I doubt my mom sounds exactly like your mom, because your mom is Canadian and has that cool accent.

Still a reasonably good idea.

demonrail666 05.08.2009 12:20 AM

you can't have somebody else buying you your cheese. that's just straight up foolish.

NaiveMelody 05.08.2009 09:03 AM

Good Point.

Not if the other person is stupid enough to do it.

diskaholic-anonymous 05.08.2009 09:50 AM

naive if you like good cheese must try a traditional one. The best portuguese cheese...melty as you?!?!

static-harmony 05.08.2009 09:53 AM

Diet? Ha! What's that? Nah, I eat a lot of veggies mostly, just by nature, so I generally don't have to worry abotu dieting. Except for making sure my ghetto booty doesn't get too big. But whateva. I'll have to check the awesome cheese out.

I delivered and assembled a futon and frame to a woman who lived in a second-floor apartment today. She had a sauna in there, right in the middle of the living room. It was infrared though.

She didn't sound Finnish.

davenotdead 05.08.2009 03:38 PM

80 is nothing girl.

when my upstairs AC stopped working last august, the upstairs thermometer read 97.

_slavo_ 05.08.2009 03:47 PM

ok, speaking of cheese, here's some traditional one from my homeland.
you can't find this anywhere else in the world - the taste's so special!

Many here have a sauna in their apartment blocks. a proper steam sauna, not some star trek laser quest thing.

NaiveMelody 05.09.2009 01:31 PM
