so is their post break-up reunion (sans dead sitar player), Band 2.

their albums We Are Band and Band: This Is The Second Band Album are suitable only for bonfires.


edit: I see that this thread is actually about someone called husker du (whoever that is).

I did pick up the DVD, Band: Live at a Venue, it was ok.

See, that's exactly the problem I'm talking about. If I send my mum out to get me the second The Band album (entitled simply The Band) she's likely to come back with a Band CD, I know she is. Mums will fuck you up like that every flippin time.

yr doin' it wrong. they are not something that you bring home to mother.

Band really starts to shine on message boards and coffee tables, where others can witness yr knowledge of it and give you that air of mystery that you've been searching for always.

for maximum effect, I would suggest finding Band's BR series.

musically they are all completely unlistenable. however, yr social life will thank you. you can thank ME about it later.

My aunt has a promo copy of BR 2. She says its alligator-theme gets a bit old after a few listens. Now she yearns for something 'less amphibious'.

no. yr doin' ok. besides, don't ask me. my ashtray is outside, my water is cherry coke zero and as far as Band is concerned, I got the cd's instead of vinyl. even those are sitting on the shelf, buried and never often played.

mostly, I'm just upset that iloverain&trees scooped me on Band. :(
