Many people in America like to do drugs, either for recreation, or in hopes of reaching some sort of enlightened state.

Whether you do these drugs or not, did you realize that they are... DRUGS?!?

Yes, all of these drugs you are doing - weed, mushrooms, acid, random pills found in a dumpster - are ALL DRUGS!!

Lighten up man, drugs are ok. They are like snack packs or movie theater pop-corn: something you crave occasionally but haven't survived on since you were a teenager/young adult(p.s. thats a shit term for someone over 18, but less than 25 I think).

before I get too carried away I would like to say that this thread(obviously aimed at the suchnsuch guy) is going to be a success and I am happy somebody thought of it. Also, I don't know many people on here so far, but, suchnsuch and aftermath need to have a quick e-hug,e-kiss, or at least an e-fist bump.

I made a comment to suchnsuch about the comaprisons of chemically altered food and working at wal-mart, that I think hurt his feelings. If it did, I'll be sure to watch my keystrokes and keep the tampons close-by. Seriously, I don't think he got it, and really this the internet I mean no harm and hope nobody takes things that serious(as many folks in his food thread seemed to).

Now, thread, feel free to whither and die.(as this was my ultimate and, until now, unspoken intent for this post)

Drugs are like everything else... too much of ANYTHING will hurt you, possibly kill you. I find drugs boring nowadays. When you've done acid 100 times, you know what to expect.... Still like popping hydros though.

drugs = ok sometimes
booze = ok sometimes
falling downstairs = not good anytime

I tend to agree with this stance, but, the amount of damaged inflicted on the individual is also dependent on his/her type of personality.

I'd like to amend this post by stating that whilst on drugs and booze:

violent crime=not good
stealing to support habits=not good

Everyone needs to trip in their lifetime.

I dunno about that. while the idea may sound appealing to everyone, I'm sure you know some people who's brain just isn't compatible with highly psychoactive hallucinogens. I know I do. When i was younger I would trip almost every weekend, usually with the same people, but there was always a new face, someone who a friend brought along that generally had more money than the rest of us. A few times,(and I only see this in retospect) the person brought along would not have the mindset to take thie shit and end up on a bad trip, and if you've had one you know what I mean, they suck. It also sucks to care for somebody that at the time, you think is a pussy and can't handle the drugs that all your people are having a blast with.

To sum up this wikipedia article, I'm just saying, yes maybe everybody should trip once in their life if at least to seee how they react to the drug.

that said, I remember watching Helter Skelter on tv, hearing them accuse the manson family of tripping almost 200 times, and laughing at what a bunch of pussies they were.

I'm pretty sure half of the kids I came up with tripped at least 200 times. Think about it, you could buy a blunt for five or a hit of acid for five....do the math.
