Beaches

I'm not usually into them but, right now...

davenotdead 06.30.2009 12:47 PM

beaches are the greatest. only 8 months of my life have I not lived near water or within 5 minute walk of the beach

demonrail666 06.30.2009 12:50 PM

right now i envy you more than you could ever imagine

jon boy 06.30.2009 01:05 PM

they are ok but they can get too crowded so i like the quieter ones. went to tofino a month or so ago and they have the aptly named long beach which was pretty much deserted. there was all this wood and debris washed up from storms and things and it was really cool.

schizophrenicroom 06.30.2009 03:15 PM

daytona beach is pretty at night. we have fireworks every saturday night in the summer!

i prefer lakes. beaches here are too dirty, polluted & crowded. if i could go to a beach in hawaii, austrailia, brazil, etc- i know i would like them better.

phoenix 06.30.2009 10:45 PM

right now any thought of enough warmth to be able to visit a beach, is so comforting..

the one above looks gorgeous. ^^

Lamont Cranston 06.30.2009 11:05 PM

the Numbers 1, 112, 16 & 96 trams go to the beach phoenix

pbradley 07.01.2009 12:19 AM

I trip out hard when I visit a beach after a long time away. Something about the receding of the tide washes away my near constant mental baggage with such strength that it feels like a drug. I sleep like a baby the night after.

That's weird. i have the exact same reaction. I tend not to like the whole 'beach holiday' thing but find just laying on one with a good book probably the most truly relaxing activity I can think of. It definitely has something to do with seeing this vast expanse of openness in front of me, and the continuous sound of the waves. I think there's something very primal about waves. I'm sort of obsessed with them.

atsonicpark 07.01.2009 02:24 PM

a beach ruined my life

terriblecanyons 07.01.2009 02:25 PM

Fuck beaches. This thread should be about bitches.

Shifty Prophet 07.01.2009 02:27 PM

To me beaches are synonymous with: surfing, midnight sex, and staying up all night to watch the sunrise over the ocean.

Trasher02 07.01.2009 02:36 PM

The Bitch Boys.
hehe...

joe11121 07.01.2009 02:56 PM

Beaches are great. I love going to a warm place in the winter and going for a nice swim in the water there

Пятхъдесят Шест 07.01.2009 03:29 PM

Though the above activity is lovely (I've never been more content than when reading by the sea during the late evenings in Minorca), I also like walking around those cold, empty beaches in parts of Northumbria - there's a certain beauty in their desolation.

Likewise, I have a thing about beaches at night. Though it's difficult to convince people you're not a weirdo or a dogger when you're walking around one with a Jack Russell and a torch at midnight.

i enjoy beaching(pun pun pun), but i don't overdo it.

and yes, i tend to avoid crowded places as well.

Youth_Against_Facism 07.02.2009 06:56 AM

These are my to baby's; ;)

2nd one may not look like much, but, man you have to go there to believe it. Until summer tourists ruin it. >:(

ploesj 07.02.2009 08:00 AM

i went to this place in belgium for a week a few years ago, and it was great. it's a very small village near the sea and the beach is almost empty most of the time. i do prefer the seaside in autumn or winter anyway.

Diesel 07.07.2009 10:24 AM

I've just bought an apartment on the beach ya. Can't wait to settle into beach bum life. The sea was a bit cold last week though, being that it's the north sea nd all that i shouldn't be suprised, but my cock was like a fucking chipolata !! Me nd wor lass were the only ones brave (or stupid depending how you look at it) enough to try nd swim. My bag full of budweiser helped steel the nerves for the frosty waves though which were massive by the way. Also, a bottle of pink sidekick went some way to defrosting my genitals back to their previous glorious state..bit off track here, gotta run bybyby

SONIC GAIL 07.07.2009 11:13 AM

These are the shores of Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
It's not the most beautiful of our beaches here in Florida, but it still pleases me.
How could anyone not love the beach?
I would go stir crazy if I didn't live within an hour away from open seas.

Diesel 07.10.2009 06:56 PM

I posted a pic of my local beach here years ago complete with pink dots painstaikinly dotted!!!! to show the sheer amout of booze holes in me town. Was hoping that someone would ask 'BY! thats alota pink dots?! what the fuck are thay man?????? but nar. non of you arrogant pricks asked did you? so here it is again...

Thinking back - It was quite fun counting all the pissers in me town actually. I was a big fan, the pinky dots...

pantophobia 07.10.2009 07:07 PM

i'd love to get back to the beach next month, just have to get someone to cover a sunday shift, get some decent seafood and drinks

Diesel 07.10.2009 07:15 PM

Pissups on the beach are too good. I think i want it to be me new addiction, i might'nd have a choice like where i'm moving..

The weathers been shite the past couple o weeks, but i did enjoy the heavy rain storms lashing doon. I need to gan to the sunny beach though!!

I've just noticed in me beach pic that my apartment isn't built yet!! that muddy patch! far out. iniiii haha

demonrail666 07.10.2009 07:17 PM

Diesel 07.10.2009 07:23 PM

Satan 07.10.2009 07:25 PM

walkin on the beaches lookin at the peaches

davenotdead 07.10.2009 08:00 PM

today was a pretty perfect day.

waves were raging at the beach. i boogie-boarded, body-surfed, then had a 5-person chain [arms in arms] and took them head on. scrapes and bruises for all.

then came home and swam in the river. its 9 pm and i'm exhausted. water was the perfect temp too. i just sat in the river for 2 hours, floating

Always wanted to go here;

It's called Ningaloo National Park in Western Australia. Apparently it has the worlds largest dugong population. It's also home to an abundance of fish (500 species), corals (300 species), molluscs (600 species) dolphins, manta rays, whale sharks and humpback whales.

And since it's a National Park only like 20 people are allowed in at once to protect the eco-system.
