It's hard to believe it wont suck but theres still a part of me that hopes. Can't really complain if it's free - unless it is complete donald trump.

That's the thing, though. You know most bands would be able to write at least one half-decent song, to put on an album of 44. But we're talking about a band who had over 800 songs before Machina even came out. So...

The harmonics in the main riff to "Zero", that one little half-second of sound, is the only cool sound in the entire Smashing Pumpkins catalogue.

Jesus Christ, focus on 10 fucking songs and actually make them good. Don't record 44 songs just because you have no focus, no actual idea what you want to do and too much fucking money to sit still.

This will be a shit project, but, I'm curious to see what level Corgan will stoop to make sure he fucks us all in the earhole, and NOT in the good way.

I'll give it a listen. I thoroughly enjoy all the Pumpkins albums except Zeitgeist. This doesn't mean that I like Billy Corgan in the least. I've been of the mind for years that he should be locked away and only allowed to make music, not speak, give interviews, or do anything. I'd be lying if I didn't say that the Pumpkins recorded some of my favorite songs ever from Gish to Machina II.

I don't like Adore, but I really like some songs on Machina I & II. In fact, I think Machina II is one of my top three favorite SP releases, behind Mellon Collie and Siamese Dream. I even liked Zwan.

I'll probably download this and delete whatever I don't like.
