We must have opposite schedules as I don't see it in my contacts. I have too many contacts though. I'm a sucker for looking at artsy erotic photos and there are so many on Flickr. Then straight up surrealism gets me a lot of contacts too.

Yeah, though you can set different licenses through Creative Commons if you want people to be able to remix your art or use it in blogs and stuff without having to check first. I only charge people for my images if they are going to use them to make or attempt to make money. But I still own it all.

Because I'm currently finding myself in an online romance with somebody 18 years younger than me. But girls mature faster, right?

My first boyfriend was 16 when I was 13. I've only loved one person younger than me since then, but it ended up to be more friendly than romantic.

how annoying is the "social network" component?

I don't give a duck about making "friends" there, but I wouldn't mind some comments on my pics, so I'd gladly accept opinions etc, but I'd hate to get loads of stupid OT comments or pointless stuff etc...

I don't really care much about comments (positive or not), I'm a bit scared of all those "this pics has been selected for the wonderful *insert random theme* group" etc things I saw on other people's pages, like this from Angella's pics:

i dont mind those too much. like i said i like it if someone comments or leaves nice remarks. to be honest, i just like the fact that someones talking to me...

but you'll get shitty ones with stupid 'awards' that are given. those wind me up and could almost be bots for all the sense they make, it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of flickr though
