if i hadn't been so voiciferous against the plethora of parody threads a few months ago i'd have started a male artist survivor by now

its not that serious or complicated. I cant list them all, then we'd be playing this game for weeks.. I had to limit them to the 18 you see, there was no criteria for selection it was strictly random. The Female Artist part is to include non-riot grrrl chick performers and/or groups, and in the spirit of random, I threw a few odd balls into the mix.

Its Survivor, just vote off the three you don't like, and if you have any suggestions for artists you feel are not represented, please suggest them. In this way, the thread can be both a survivor thread and also a riot grrrl/female artist music thread..

i used to like bikini kill, but yes they were shit. specially that reject all american album, god, that is crap.

I don't like Bikini Kill, Kathleen Hannah annoys me to no end, and even I think Reject All American is great.

As for the first list, I'd vote of all those bands except for Bikini Kill.

FOR ONLY is one of my all time favorite tracks. That bassline is always in my head. RIP is mindblowing. Jet Ski is brilliant. Amazing album.
