How many time do you start typing a new post, only to scrap the whole thing because it doesn't sound as good when you type it as it did in your head? I do it daily...

Occasionaly.

i have done it, but not much anymore.

A good bit of the time, actually.

Sometimes, not a lot though.

I've done it and often it takes some time to write a message, but more than that I tend to edit my posts afterwards.

Ya, I edit too. A lot. I've gone back and editted commas and stuff from a week ago.

Ha ha....sometimes I'll type something and then say, "Ahh fuck it....who cares" and not post it.

That's what I do.
I also edit alot.

I do it all the time. Most things I say/do look a lot better in my head than how they turn out.

yes yes, Bruce is the man, I actually woke up really early after crashing on the couch the other morning and Sky High was on... by no means my regular sort of movie, but I saw Mr. Campbell and had to watch it. It wasn't good, but had great people, like Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald...

that tends to be more my attitude, I want to say something, but don't feel like taking the time to word it good, so I just scrap the whole idea.

so did I, in a sense, since when I was starting it, I originally typed something else, then erased it all, and started this thread instead.

you see, that's the beauty of having message boards as opposed to phone conversation, real social interaction, or even IMs. you are given the opportunity to actually THINK about what you're going to write before you write it. this is a huge plus for me, since i tend to be completely anal about what i say (in real life if i find that i'm saying something i don't want to be saying i'll subconsciously tell myself to slur it -- which is kind of self-defeating because then i just have to repeat it and i look like even more of a moron).

so, to answer your question, yes. but typically i read over my posts several times and make minor corrections before i post (it's the OCD).

My post tend to flow like a turd struggling to escape from my inner regions.

I type and erase. But only because I know that I'm mostly just typing for my own sake anyway..
