i was in jail for 16 hours
on saturday.
the first thing me and my friend did when we entered our cell was sing "i scream you scream we all scream for ice cream" and dance like in Down By Law. so that was fun. |
INSANE!
Welcome back! |
welcome back to society
|
welcome back!
glad you turned out ok. |
So, any OZ-like experiences? :))
|
yeah, how many times did you get raped?
|
unfortunatly no, i was in the cell for not that long, and it was empty except for th two other guys with whom i was arrested, and they were surprisingly gentle :)
|
jezzie creezie what a fucking mindtrip.
glad yr OK man. keep up the good work. |
I'm sorry my tax dollars are being used to oppress you and your fellow citizens.
|
ludicrous.
Crazy country. |
Quote:
Did they tuck you in?:):) Sounds more like you were in a holding cell not jail. |
glad you're ok...keep fighting.
|
Yeah, man. Glad to hear you're doing alright. I'm glad Minneapolis police don't arrest me at Socialism rallies and shit. Would be lame.
|
did you learn to play the harmonica? are you gonna be on israels toughest jails?
|
FIGHT THE POWER!
|
wow. good for you for doing something so meaningful. totally sucks you were punished for it.
|
Wow!
Crazy story |

My father knew someone who got jailed for 5 years for stabbing a guy in a pub. The man is a cobbler and he used one of his tools to stab the guy. I believe he pleaded self-defence in court. Clearly the court wasn't convinced.
|
did you get to lift weights in the yard? you've never really been to jail until you've lifted weights in the yard.
|
That's peacefully written.
Cool to see the police were that way and your lawyer was top notch. And the Down by Law bit too... I'm almost glad they locked you. |

I was in during the winter so they didn't let us out in the yard but we did run ball every night. Used to play upstairs against downstairs. This dude who was the star of the downstairs club was so sick of us (upstairs) winning every night that he got himself transfer upstairs. hahaha one thing for certain when I got out I was in the best shape I've ever been in my life |

That's a nice story, fugazifan.
I often walked or drove past a jail for about 10 years. I guess that doesn't compare to your experience though. |
Quote:
I think that's pretty obvious. |
I would get scared sometimes though.
|
i was trying to rep fugazifan but i cant
it's fucked that he'd be banned for 30 days, but i'm sure he'll be back on day 31 trick for the next time: dress like an orthodox for the protest. see if they lay a finger on you. |
gmku^did you ever see guys lifting weights in the yard? i'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't an invention of the movies
|
Prison movies are the best. "Hey, there's gonna be a breakout tonight. Pass it on."
|
which makes me think. i've not seen a descent prison movie in ages. brubaker was the last one i can think of, and that's flippin eons ago
|
But no, no inmates lifting weights. And it seems they get pretty light duy these days. I've only seen them strolling roadside ditches on cool mornings picking up discarded cigarette packages. The chain gang life sure has gotten cushy these days. Why aren't they breaking rocks out in the blazing sun until they drop?

fugazifan.. maximum RASpect.
it is bright souls like you who keep hope alive for Yarushalem.. all holy places from Mexico City to Rome to Mecca to Yarushalem, shit even Los Angeles here are marked with blood and injustice, as it is written, "that the people might grope for God(s)." In Christianity, faith and jail go hand in hand, all of our martyrs saints and holy men spend time in jail. My favorite Bishop, Our-Father Melketzedek, was HIM Haile I father-confessor at the time of 74 revolution, he spent 9 years in a horrible communist dungeon (literally).. these folks are living saints, keeping a continuity with the Apostles and Saints who went through chains for justice of God's love and equality of all men.. whether your a Christian or not, maximum RASpect for your sacrifice, "with much tribulation and suffer we shall enter the kingdom of God" and "they will cast you in prisons before Kings and Priests on my account, but it shall serve as a testimony for you." ![]() those sheppards appreciate it more than you (or especially I being over here) could ever know.. those bastard pharisee police arrested even God(s) Himself and brought him on trial in chains.. we are no less then God(s) Himself to suffer such things for the sheer love of man and man, true humanity to share yourself with others in bitter need. G-D bless you for real iyah. much love... |
All this talk of prison reminds me of the classic BBC comedy show set in a prison called Porridge.
|
^ is it rude to ask someone if they're mentally disabled?

Have you not seen The Shawshank Redemption? one of my favorite movies of all time. |
Quote:
i think in alien 3 ripley descends (from space) to a prison planet where she fights rape and commandeers the convicts into killing the unkillable monster, like some woman of la mancha. |
yeah, i forgot about shawshank. i think it has a 'lifting weights in the yard' scene too, which is something alien 3 can't boast and so doesn't really count as a prison film.
|
Quote:
the YY-chromosome dudes don't need weightlifting man. they have extra-testosterone and work in a fucking foundry from hell. weightlifting is for pussies. in shawshank there's a roof scene-- that's an ascent--cuz the guy is never dropped off-- though they all get off the roof eventually, but you don't see them going down those stairs. hence, the descent is negated in this movie. and to hammer the descent part in alie 3: ripley throws herself into a furnace and drags down the little alien baby with her-- oh yeah. that's a descent into the fucking pits of hell! |
