It's an addictive pop song, the battles one, with almost 80ies vibes.
I really don't give a fuck about underground-mainstream etc, if a song is good is good, even if they use it in hemmoroid creams ads.

well, the last film had loads of bizarre music choices throughout, the only alternative band who i could imagine sounding ok in a Twilight movie might be Modest Mouse.

I think it's one of those OST you barely hear actually played during the movie, with the "big song" playing during the ending credits (muse?)..
Something like that.
It happens even in good movies, sometimes you don't even realize what's on the OST till you read the tracklist, and sometimes OST are "music from and inspired by that-movie", which basically means "hey, even if you hate the movie or the main songs off the actual soundtrack, there's something more interesting in here we didn't even feature in the flick!".

What i wanna know is, who's picking this music? is David A Slade (the director) picking it?? I remember in New Moon thinking a couple of times wow, weird music choice there, almost as bad as the music choices and placements in Watchmen...

I felt weird coz it's a pretty weird thing to associate bands like battles to such a movie.

I already said somewhere else I watched the movies (and I have very good reasons for this, which I won't disclose..and even if I had none I wouldn't care about other people takes on this), I don't feel ashamed at all, I'm interested in a lot of "popular phenomena" for a number of reasons.

nah bis, it's all in good fun, especially when you bring up feelings and other stuff robots can't even fathom.
Plus there have been other teen werewolf movies which made much more of an impact on my young self.
