Circle are playing aren't they?I don't know that band but then some posters on here intrigued me enough.I might go to that,are you sonicl?

I'm in the same boat as you, I haven't seen or heard Circle but I'm tempted to go because a few good things got said about them when they were mentioned before. I'll decide for certain a few days before.

I bought this live LP today:



the local record store happened to have a copy lying on the shelf, even though it's been out of print for awhile already.
It's really good, sounding pretty close to the Guillotine / Forest era Circle.

Do you know what?I went record shopping on sunday afternoon and ended in Notting Hill's branch of Music Exchange.I asked one of my ex collegues if he knew the band and he said yes.When i asked him if they had any records by them he told me that some bloke walked in the previous week and bought everything the shop had by them.That intrigues me a little more.I'm going.

I've reached 95% certainty that I'll be going.

Just got my map at hand trying to locate the Corsica Studios.

I only have one Circle album, but it's fucking amazing. I wish they would come here.

It's not that easy trying to get their records(or maybe i haven't tried hard enough).I refuse to download.Not anymore in my house.I'm also wondering if they are that band that had this long repetitive track with what sounds like someone shouting 'Hey hey hey' over and over again on it.I heard it on John Peel's show a few years ago and again and in a club but i've never found out who they are.

This video is awsome, the vocals remind me of Amon duul II. Circle is a great band, but it is so hard to get their stuff, since it seems the only place you can get their stuff is at Aquarius records, and they suck and they charge to much for stuff.

Okay, all being well I'll be there. I just have to decide whether to go by train or car.

Just found out by ringing The Corsica Studios for availability that they might be selling records at the gig.Yes!Yes!Yes!

Okay, here's the deal: We turn up very early, buy all the records, and leak them slowly onto ebay. What do you think?

Most likely they're selling the recent releases i.e. General LP, Arkades LP, Sunrise (2LP Reissue), Earthworm CDEP and also their studio albums that still are available.

I'm in doubt about them having any older albums on the merch table.

That's be cool if i had that much dosh on me.Wichever way i'm rather exited about this.

I slept badly last night (possibly something to do with mix tape making :)), so I've taken the day off work to relax a bit before the evening's fun. Unfortunately that's not working out, as the guy downstairs from me is playing shit music really loud. I'm probably going to head into London a bit early so I can go to the record shops in Berwick Street.

Well well,Broadcast i'll have another chance to see i'm sure but Circle sounds like i'm going to discover something special.Funny coincidence that Broadcast are playing the Supersonic Festival tomorrow because the girl i spoke to on the phone yesterday told me that Circle are playing there too.

I got a bit of stick from my friend for going to the gig because she wanted to meet tonight and had no intention to travel from North London to the South.If the band turns out to be crap Le Toilette,you are one of those i will hold responsable.You heard.

At this present time i can't afford to buy that exspensive a ticket.Hopefully they wont be sold out,say,next month(i doubt it though).
