I'll go with the entire YES catalog with special mention to Siberian Khatru. And of course, the same with Genesis. (Sonic Youth is understood of course.) And, in no particular order: Low Spark of High Heel Boys (even with the absolutely horrible recording) Carouselambra and Kashmir Disintegration |
I gotta make special mention of Cerberus Shoal, who regularly crafted challenging, brilliant 8-12 minute epics, I don't think they ever made a song under 6 minutes.
