It was The muppet movie in the Theatre. My mom had to hold me up....i remember the 2nd was the never ending story. The nothing scared the shit out of me
Whoa...the earliest movie I remember seeing was Cocoon...in the theater...at about 3 or 4. I really liked the scene in the pool where the female alien takes off her skin but couldn't figure out why until I saw it again at 17 (for those who haven't seen it, before she takes her skin off, she takes her clothes off, and damn, does she-or her body double-have a nice ass)...
Flight Of The Navigator, Neverending Story, Labyrinth or The Dark Crystal can't remember which was first but i remember watching them at the cinema when i was younger.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. After that it was The Goonies, Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer, and Gremlins. And then Mr. Mom, and Summer School. And then uh, Alien, Terminator 2, Under Siege, and Tremors, oh and Predator. And those movie were in my rotation heavily between ages 4 and 5.
The first film I remember seeing in the cinema was Oliver.
Mr Mom! ha ha
"I'm just rewiring everything." "You're gonna use 220 cable right?" "yeah, 210, 220, whatever it takes." |
i have no idea.
the first movie i saw in theaters though was the little mermaid. |
i don't remember the first movie i ever saw, but the first one i saw at the theater was toy story... the original, of course.
"Victor?! How could it be Victor? I thought he had a vasectomy. It didn't take? Are you kidding me?"
Mr. Mom is one of the best movies ever made. |

you make me laugh You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Rob Instigator again. |
Mr Nanny
erm there are many possible candidates, but I'm going to guess at probably Dot and the Kangroo, since it may not have been the very earliest, but it was definately the one that I wanted to watch over and over < 3 years old.
The first movie I remember seeing in the theatre, was The Jetsons movie, at 5 or 6. I saw it again recently on cable and it was no where near as good as my memories. |
Dunston checks in. It was on the tv at a local furniture store. The couch, lamentably, was less excellent than the movie.
I still remember that day even 5 years later, and still, we have no couch, but the movie, it stays forever, like a red wine stain on your grandmothers bedsheets! |
The first film I saw in a theater was "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial", according to my mom.
The first film I remember seeing in a theater was the Pound Puppies movie. I am getting old. |
Robocop is the first film I remember watching.
It was the Walt Disney movie called Ol Yeller. I was still crying 10 minutes later on the bus ride home. Ol Yeller came out in 1957 so I was 4 years old.
no fucking clue
That live action flinstones movie with John Goodman and Halle Berry
That's a tough one. Probably the original Star Wars trilogy, my father was a big fan it, so he taped it sometime around the late 80s or early 90s. Don't know those were the first movies I've seen in my life but they are probably the first ones I remember. As for the first movie in a theatre: That was probably Toy Story
E.T.
The first ever movie on VHS I hired back in the day was The Bounty.
Bambi.
i think it was the omen. freaked me out for years.
i think the first one i remember was the vikings with kirk douglas on tv, but also wrath of khan.
