gmku 07.17.2006 03:20 PM

Are the first SYR things considered singles? I have SYR 1 thru 3, as well as 4 (which of course is really a double LP).

And I guess like cantankerous, I also got one of the fucked up SYR-1s cuz mine is black, too. Hmm. Damn. That red vinyl woulda been nice. I didn't even know about that.

And I guess my SYR-2 is fucked up, too, cuz it's also black. What's up with that?

But my SYR-3 is clear, and that's cool.

gmku 07.17.2006 03:33 PM

I also have a couple CD single things, including Nirvana's Sliver/Spank Thru.

Me too. I have hundreds of 7" singles by really obscure bands, very often bands I hadn't of before and haven't heard of since. I'm slowly get rid of all my vinyl, and the more obscure singles are the hardest to offload.

atari 2600 07.17.2006 05:46 PM

lots of The Beatles & The Doors mainly...although I've lost or destroyed most of them through neglect.

I had a unregistered Chinese-made .45 caliber that a policeman caught me with & instead of taking me in, he stole it. He also stole several hundred dollars. He rode me all the way into the Sheriff's station at the county jail & then decided to let me go. The gun had a special feature in that it had a removable barrel. When I think back on it though, I'm sort of providentially glad that I don't have a gun anymore.

RdTv 07.17.2006 05:51 PM

Not to sound lame, but in the words of NWA: ''Gangsta! -- Gangsta!

atari 2600 07.17.2006 05:54 PM

One thing that I believe helped is that the clip had no bullets, so the gun was not loaded & there were no bullets in the car either.

RdTv 07.17.2006 05:56 PM

That's good, I've had the displeasure of dealing with unregistered/altered serials and it isn't easy to make them ''legal''. Its really more work than if you steal a car.

Danny Himself 07.17.2006 06:06 PM
