Yum.

Can't post an image cuz I'm working, but what I know is in there includes 2 remaining bottles of Allagash Dubbel Ale. I started out with 8 bottles last Saturday. I may be an alcoholic.

Danny Himself 07.21.2006 11:01 AM

Nah, you're just a man, gmku. Thats not bad for almost a week ago anyway.

I just noticed how precariously my eggs are perched. I should put them in a safer posistion.

You keep a well-stocked fridge there. Maybe more fruit & veggies for a well-balanced diet? And you shouldn't store things in opened cans.

I might put a picture of mine on after work so you can pick holes in it. I think we've finished the Fimbles yoghurts though.

You make me yearn for Munch Bunch.

My sister opened that sweetcorn two days ago. I can't be bothered throwing it out. We keep our fruit in bowls around the house, and the vegetables in their own little cupboard. Thats just our salad-ish stuff there.

yeah, and I don't mean to make light of it. I just find myself enjoying good beer more and more. Thing is, I never drink to get drunk. I haven't gotten drunk in probably 20 years.

porkmarras 07.21.2006 11:13 AM

Erm....but beer is there to make you drunk. If you wanted to quench your thirst you would drink water, wouldnt you?

Well, by drunk I mean sloppy hangover-inducing drunk. There is the buzz that comes with one or two beers, and of course, I enjoy that, and that's part of why I drink beer. But for me, the biggest part of it is the taste. I love the taste and smell of dubbels, bocks, stouts, double-IPAs, and other "big" beers. If these good-tasting beers were not alcholic, I'd still want to drink them.

lucky. i'm trying to eat healthy, but i'm on a ramen noodle budget right now...

Hip Priest 07.21.2006 04:51 PM

It's just the fridge bit that looks healthy - look underneath, in the freezer, and it's a different tale.

afterthefact 07.21.2006 05:01 PM

my freezer just has more vodka :)

Hip Priest 07.21.2006 05:04 PM

Any particular varieties? We like Altai, Wyborova and Zubrowka. I cook these special ice cubes to go with it. Mmmmm...

EMMAh 07.21.2006 05:04 PM

Not enough.

That's my favorite food. I wish we had that in ours. We have a bunch of crap that I don't like. All I use the fridge for is water/milk/apple juice, lunch meats, and occassionally soda. I usually eat freezer foods, like hot pockets or whatever. And fruits we keep out cause they go fast.

Generally how I feel. There are things, just nothing satisfying. Juice of sorts, milk, ham, cheese, condiments of every sort; what's in any normal fridge.

Exactly!
I swear we don't even eat half of what's in the damn fridge. I'm in the mood for something really, really good but there's nothing slightly satisfying in there.

I like a lot of good stuff, but I have Heaven Hill, cause it's about $4.99 pint, and I drink with a purpose :)

CHOUT 07.21.2006 08:26 PM

Hello, you Liverpudlian Bloke.

krastian 07.21.2006 10:31 PM

Lovin' the new avatar thing CHOUT.

Cantankerous 07.21.2006 10:34 PM

we still have some beer in a cooler.

krastian 07.21.2006 10:43 PM

Ha ha....St. Louis got rocked. Glad to hear about the beer.

Cantankerous 07.21.2006 10:46 PM

My great-grandma's condo complex burned down to the ground. Or so I hear.
BUUUURN BABY BUUUURN, DISCO INFERNOOOO.

Yeah basically we sat on my friend's porch and drank and smoked and drew psychotropic art on my arm for like three days.

fishmonkey 07.22.2006 10:27 AM

i.e dont tell my housemates as they think its my "mayonaise's of the world" collection.

afterthefact 07.22.2006 11:03 AM

I've upgraded, I actually have FOOD now! haha
I've got some peaches, kiwi, grapefruit, avocado, french rolls, turkey, alfalfa sprouts, tilapia, lettuce, mango juice, and various condiments and spicies

(if you wonder why some of that is in my fridge, it because I can lock it and keep my effin' roommates out of my food...)

static-harmony 07.22.2006 03:46 PM

I haven't been able to get pass the mystery bowl but I know I have mangos, cherries, oranges, apples, strawberries, lemons, limes, green peppers, milk, and some left-over chinese.

afterthefact 07.22.2006 03:49 PM

mmm, mangos... when I was in Brazil, my girlfriend had a mango tree and a papaya tree in her backyard, it was so great...

acousticrock87 07.22.2006 03:50 PM

Mangos and papayas rock. And guava. I had this stuff called "orange passion guava" juice. It was amazing. I can't find it anywhere, though.

afterthefact 07.22.2006 03:52 PM

that sucks.
yeah, she like hated apples and stuff, which at first I thought was wierd, but then figured, if I grew up with mangos and papayas in my backyard, I wouldn't want other fruit either.
