And frankly, I agree. Jams Run Free sounds to me like the Pumpkins' "1979" with a few wrong notes thrown in to make it sound "arty". Kim has done and can do much better.

Well, now can we do it with an album that most of us like much more, like Washing Machine? It'll be much more fun, since so many people on here think RR is so boring and couldn't care less which one wins ulltimately.

Well, whether anyone likes Siamese Dream or not, if you've ever picked up a guitar you'd know immediately that SD is about 25 times more experimental than RR. But you don't have to pick one up to know it's more emotional, rockin, or textured.

Siamese Dream is a CLASSIC album.

Well 1979 is my favourite song ever! So Jams Run Free in my view can never be as good. I love Rather Ripped, and Pink Steam is my favourite song on the record, But I'm sorry 'Siamese Dream' is a far better album, its a classic like 'Dark Side of the Moon' or 'Daydream Nation'.

Yes, first note of Jams I heard I thought it was a sample of 1979. And being a huge pumpkins fan I've heard that song a lot.

Rather Ripped reminds me of Siamese Dream....Even though their is no walls of fuzz, instead it is just the opposite, clean, clean guitars. Both very easy to digest albums with lots of repeated listenablity

not surprising it won... along with Rats it's the most "Sonic Youth sounding" song on the record. I think it's quite a good pick actually, though I'm not really sure if it's the one I like best..

Pink Steam is the only song on the album reminiscent of the old sonic youth.
