porkmarras 08.14.2006 12:09 PM

Please, let me know if it works.

gmku 08.14.2006 12:09 PM

Looks like a nice cleanly designed site.

alyasa 08.14.2006 12:10 PM

It worked the first time.. Had to copy the link location, paste it out, then edit it for the necessary and relevant universal resource locator line. :) Thanks again.

porkmarras 08.14.2006 12:11 PM

Why the hell do you have to log into yousendit to access files now?

Seems like a lot of hard work that I'm not willing to do.

All I'm getting is the sign-on page.

alyasa 08.14.2006 12:14 PM

It seems that you have to register and then log into the site proper to access any downloads that people have put up for you...

gmku 08.14.2006 12:14 PM

I have to be logged in to download the file, it says. I don't want to log in. Really, I don't.

porkmarras 08.14.2006 12:15 PM

Did you try my last link? That should work. They must have changed the rules with yousendit.

gmku 08.14.2006 12:18 PM

Yeah, the last link you posted still just takes me to a log in page.

porkmarras 08.14.2006 12:19 PM

That means that you have to register. It doesn't take long.

porkmarras 08.14.2006 12:25 PM

Anyway,i've upped Sugar's 'Changes'from 'Copper Blue' because it's a top notch tune. While doing my third mixtape it fell into my hands after a long time.

I can't find any Sugar in the bins here. CD, vinyl. Nothing. Is the catalog out of print?

I got Copper Blue when it came out, but then lost the CD and never replaced it. I'd love to have it back. I remember it sounding pretty amazing.

krastian 08.14.2006 03:31 PM

I'm not sure if they are out of print or not.....maybe check out the Rykodisk website.

new bob happenings-

Blowoff

After helping define the sound of alternative-rock with H?D?the '80s, fronting the power-pop band Sugar in the '90s and fusing hard-rock and heavy electronica in his last solo release, Body of Song, in 2005, Bob Mould is now redefining pop music with Blowoff, his collaboration with producer/remixer extraordinaire Richard Morel. Blowoff, named after the deciding fight in a pro wrestling match, melds together Mould's angry, angular power-pop tendencies with Morel's hazy, house-fueled electronica. The result is nothing less than a superb self-titled first album that offers the listener a level of musical adventurousness and stunning songcraft that has no equal in the pop, rock or dance music worlds today. Blowoff marks the first project in which both Mould and Morel have taken equal turns in writing, playing the guitar and keyboards, creating rhythm tracks and breathing into the mike. As listeners will hear from the album's very first track, "Hormone Love", Blowoff is an impressive merger between two highly independent musicians whose individual virtuosity is unparalleled and whose musical roots span rock, punk, funk, pop, electronica and deep house. Mould and Morel will be taking their famed Blowoff party, held once a month at DC's famed 9:30 Club, on the road in support of this release. Featuring both men DJing, as well as performing a live set as Blowoff, these parties attract a wide cross-section of people from all walks of life, providing a rare meeting ground for everyone from music-loving hipsters to beer-drinking men's men to dance music enthusiasts. Standard Jewel Case.
