by dark i mean the color of hair that grows out of my head, which is very very dark brown but you can't tell unless it's in direct light. i don't want to dye my hair black and have it turn out like poor truncy's.

And why are you opposed to black? I think it looks quite good on you. And, to alleviate any potential worries, the accidental (for the record, I didn't ask for black) black dye job has begun to lose its creepy unnatural bluish hue, and doesn't look half bad now. So really, you're safest going dark, as you can't really fuck that up.

truncshow - there is some stuff you can get that is supposedly intended to make it look natural whatever color you dye it, i am going to try the black and if all else fails bleach it back to brown.
