I've never been but my family is from there and still have relatives that live there but apparently we dont talk much...

I guess some of my family went to visit in the 70s and the greek family there offered them a chicken as they were leaving but they couldnt take a live chicken on a plane...and the family in greece got offended...also I think it had something to do with them asking about land.
