Thurston asked the Audience for a pick and Lee said "look, here is a patriotic one" right before Schizophrenia. I threw that up on stage :) It came with my Eminence Texas Heat (which is a Patriot speaker)

I was near Lee in my Gang of Four shirt and sporting Buddy Holly shades.

Before they started to do Rats I could swear Thurston played the Making the Nature Scene bass part once and it got me really excited.

I think Sonic Youth really rocks the shit out of Pittsburgh each time they come because they don't really come that often and feel bad.

Holly Shit! Schizo, Silver Rocket, 100%, Candle? The U.S. shows always get the better set lists. Although i did seem them on the 8th here in Toronto Canada and they played Teenage Riot :D

when i saw them in DC in june, the setlist seriously lacked. they started off with the beginning of rather ripped in order. but then they finished off with brother james and shaking hell, so it was a little better.

I'm jealous.

Well, I wrote that they needed to step it up haha.

I haven't listened to it yet, but it might be a really good one with that setlist.

i videotaped the whole thing. It surprisingly came out really nice. I was worried that the sound may distort since I was near the front and it was really loud, but the mix is perfect.

I'll be putting it on dvd eventually.

I'd love to get a copy too. I have a bootleg of the Point State Park Three Rivers Arts festival they did a few years back. The guy who taped it stopped filming before the encore (wtf?) and the sound isn't great, but still it is sort of a memento.

Damon Che told me his friend had a better bootleg of the same mentioned show with sound from the board, but he never got back to me on that.

I was Tapeworm Donor originally, lost my password and changed it to Julian Is Dead on the old board. Then I changed it again for the new board. I wish I would have left it at Spectral Julian though, like most other boards I am on.

yeah, i'd trade 3:1 for this! i'm Doyouliketofukguessimouttaluck from the old board, and i don't have the 3Rivs show! kinda been hard keeping up with all the vid boots since everyone has a camera nowadays and likes to keep the recordings. i want to start an archive of everything that's been filmed. in fact, there's a dude in Canada (emmanuel tremblay) who has about 60-70 full vids i need. i wish he'd let me pool it all together......someday i guess!!
