Loop reissues petition
 

Does anyone want to sign a petition to get Loop's albums reissued?I posted Hampson's Main myspace link a few weeks ago so i thought that,perhaps,we could go through him to enquiry about possible reissues.Any ideas?

I have no idea and i thought about that.We could always enquire and show enough enthusiasm towards the possibilty of the albums being reissued.

Give me his address and I will scare him into re-issuing.

Come to think of it there is a host of albums that should reissued...

Tons of albums need to be re-issued. Most specifically the first 3 Arab on Radar vinyls.

it's a moral shame that those albums are out of print.

i think this has been reissued, i bought a copy last summer anyway, it's superb.

isn't there a website that specializes in getting signatures for different stuff? i signed for the release of fiona apple's album, for metallica to break their association with bob rock and for motörhead to be inducted into the hall of fame and all of them were on the same website.

By a Brazilian label? I think I've seen that a Brazilian label has reissued it but doing online business via Brazil can be dodgy. I have not had the best success with sending/recieving stuff from Brazil.

Anyway, I wasn't aware of it being reissued. I love this record too. Tell me about this reissue.

it's on CD & i bought it in tokyo, along with a vinyl copy of her other s/t record.

I can't find available anywhere online. Usually gemm.com is a good judge of how widely avaialble it is and nothing. Hm.

no problem, i've heard that site is very good for tropicalia and other old dancefloor type music, although i've never ordered from it myself as that type of stuff is quite easy to find in london.

Just going through the site I'm seeing a couple of things I wouldn't mind having.

all the os muntantes records got reissued recently too, incase you don't have them.

I've got some OS Mutantes, some of their stuff is incredible, and the other half isn't all that impressive.

I want to learn Portuguese now. Again.

i think the first 5 mutantes records are all worth owning, i haven't heard any of the post rita lee stuff, people say that stuff is awful.

not as os mutantes, rita lee has had a solo career since the 70s, of which i have heard none. her first solo record is supposedly a mutantes record in everything but name.
and i think one of the brothers puts out stuff from time to time.

I'm down, but only for the 45s I don't have. Everything else I bought upon original release. Being old pays off occasionally.
