The Tragically Hip and Don Cherry are from Kingston. It's fairly isolated, but still within driving distance to Toronto. Not that TO is great, but there are things to do there, and lots of bands come to play.

I really hate when artists come thru Canada and total snub Vancouver and just do a Montreal and Toronto show.

I used to go out with a lass from Kingston, South London. Now, I'm not one for gossip, but by God was she fine. And tall. And angry.

Their tour usually includes Seattle, its not hard (well sometimes it is) to cross the border and enjoy one of Canada's largest cities.

Out of curiosity why kingston? Why not at least T-dot or Montreal? I'm living Montreal these days and barely speak a word of french and get by fine.

i think everyone who lives in canada should speak french, or at very least not complain about it. so many people in canada complain about french labelling, i heard some women outside dairy queen crying about how she couldn't get a job without knowing french, good! you shouldn't be able to graduate highschool without knowing it.

fuck i'm going to be in canada in about 35 hours and i could cry.....do.not.want.
