Thurston Moore Mike Watt & George Hurley perform the songs of the Minutemen Scratch Acid Boredoms The Fall The Raincoats Tall Firs Sebadoh Half Japanese The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion! Joanna Newsom Low The Magic Band etc.... and still about 15 more tba! |

Thurston was added in July, if Lee is going to play too then you MUST come along! (there has been no official word that Lee will play, it's just my wishful thinking! but he is going to be in the UK sometime in March...) |

There are 9 on this list I'd love to see. I'll keep those to myself, haha. |

Lots of new additions to ATP curated by Jeff Mangum coming later today!

Mount Eerie, Roscoe Mitchell, Earth, ACME performing Gavin Bryars' Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet, Rafael Toral, Matana Roberts, Yamantaka-Sonic Titan, Demdike Stare & Blanck Mass confirmed for ATP curated by Jeff Mangum
|
Matana Roberts was really good at Godspeed's ATP.
|
CVIY were better in my opinion.
|
CVIY?

|
sorry, but I thought you were referring as CVIY (do they exist at all?) being a band that had played Godspeed's ATP, but couldn't find them.
|
^protip: someone's been trolled
|
Hey there,
we have got two spare tickets for our 4 berth chalet, so we are looking for people to join us. We wanted to go in December and now our 2 other friends can't make it to the rescheduled ATP. Please get in touch if you are interested. -Bastian |

So they don't use the Pavilion stage anymore? that's good. |
I await reports on the Boredoms, Earth, Low, and Thurston Moore especially.

Sadly I missed Low as they clashed with Blanck Mass but Jim did go to see them and said it was good. Boredoms were really amazing (as you will soon be able to hear) I don't think anything I could say can explain how good they were. There was 5 drummers and 14 guitarists. When they played Acid Police I got a shiver down my back. They played early about 3pm both days but it was a good way to start the day (although nothing else could match them). It was good to have Thurston back on electric guitar for most of his set and we got treated to an awesome performance. I quite enjoyed seeing Earth as I've not seen them before... again I recorded their show so you can hear it for yrself. Other highlights for me were Sun Ra Arkestra, Scratch Acid, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Raincoats, Tall Firs and Sebadoh but everything we saw was good and I'm probably forgetting some things.... |
Quote:
Yes I did, they were great and also The Fall (well the last 40 minutes that I caught of them...) I don't regret going to see The Raincoats though and missing the begining of The Fall.... |
Ok so all my recordings are now up on dime. As soon as Earth gets some more seeds then I will upload these for all the non-dime members...
