i saw em live a few times, first time was twatcack. 2nd time i caught the end of their set and it sounded quite good, but finished too soon for me to say anything good about them.

the awesome power of the magik markers is beyond silly polls. do they need everyone's approval to exist & continue making their rocking noise? no, they don't. maybe in the future everyone will pretend to "have liked them since way back" kinda like people do with the ramones, and their music will be featurd in superbowl commercials, but in any case, who cares? as long as they enjoy what they do & their fans too, the rest is pure bullshit.

i like that expression, "pure bullshit". it's one of the first things i learned in english i think. not extraordinary in any way, just, hm, direct in a redneck sort of way.

Okay I listened to some stuff on Allmusic and a song on their website (the link called it "Song With Yelling", but Windows Media called it "Fuck You", so I'm not sure which is the name)...

I think I gotta agree with Everyneurotic on this one...they'd be alot more interesting if they either learned to play their instruments or at least got a bass player to give their songs more of a groove.

Probably someday they will learn to play their instruments, and maybe even sing, and then of course everyone will call them sellouts.

I liked what they were trying to do when I saw them open for SY. It just didn't translate very well at the show. Unfortunately for them, there are plenty of bands with similar energy that actually know how to play instruments.
