yeh,i missed their last tour here....but i went every fu*kin' time they came here till last year!so they should not be THAT angry...i even printed some pics to give them as a present,and they appreciated that...p.s. looks like there is at least one (probably still unofficial) italian date (hope another one nearer to where i live will pop out)

yeah,it happens almost once a year,but we don't plan to have kids.

I'm gonna see them in Prague.
Looking forward to it, although I haven't heard much of this band's output yet.

if you like anything "instrumental" you'll love their live set.better than on records.

yeh,more like mogwai,but actually i think that mono's music has a quite different feeling from mogwai's.more "moving",if you will.

i saw them a few days ago. they were allright. not that good.
it was outdoors though so the sound was all over the place, which doesnt help with a band like mono.
best to see em in a small room.

attendace was poor, but the gig was awesome!!! love them live! they played stuff from their latest album. sound was brilliant. enjoyed taka's "kneeling" on the stage, all them pedals, making beautifull feedback and noize. tamaki looks hot. talked to the band, really nice people. pitty i didn't have a camera, i would make cool pictures.

gah, tamaki i heard was stunning last night. sorry i didnt make it. poor attendance, im not suprised considering lfo were on the same night! the dublin music gathering aint like new york!!!!

I'm pleased you enjoyed the show. I just bought my ticket for Thursday in London.

Any chance someone is going to videotape one of their gigs? Sonicl,maybe? My plan to record their show is crumbling due to lack of tech-support from my friends...

I don't have the necessary equipment, I'm afraid. A few still photos, maybe, but no recording. Sorry!

The London show was wonderful, as are the two CDs I bought - Taka's solo one and the collaboration with World's End Girlfriend.

Mono really are too good for rock venues and should play all their shows in churches.

EDIT - The place was packed and I couldn't get anywhere near the stage, so, sorry, no photos.

Oh, i forgot to mention that the gig was absolutely great (yeh, I love them, and I love seeing them live), show highlights : the kidnapper bell + yearning.
Only bad thing : the lights in the place they played are quite horrid, but I like how the pics came out, you can't almost see their faces, but it's a nice effect after all.
